We used to be sweethearts
Who unfortunately fell apart
We used to be so happy
If we just never let it be
Could still recall when we first met
Not a single bit of you was my bet
By the shore, all night long
You we're singing our love song
We we're sitting by the bonfire
And as I look into your eyes
I could see what your heart's desire
Under the moonlight, you confessed
That moment when I know
All I really wanted is to go
But I felt something weird inside
Fear and doubts of mine subside
My "Yes" did not go wrong
for I haven't been happy for that long
Songs we're not just words and melodies
But become bittersweet reminders of memories
And when that right time comes
Wish we could still smile at each other again
The same old feeling way back then
When fireworks run through my head into my vein
When that time comes
Hope we could exchange our apologies
Like we used to watch in the movies
Of those love teams we wish we could be
But even though I really love you
I'm moving on caused I deserve too
But I don't even have a clue
If when that time comes, will you?
