The next day, instead of sticking with Sayori and MC, Monika decided to follow Yuri around for the day. Immediately, she noticed a difference. Yuri seemed to be more aware that someone was there, occasionally looking over her shoulder nervously, but never seeing Monika directly.
Finally, she decided to speak.
"... w-who's there?"
"Just me."
"Who?"
Yuri immediately tensed. Who was she even talking to!? She couldn't see or hear anyone, but she could feel someone's presence and voice.
"... I'll explain later. But it's someone that needs your help." Monika answered.
"Can you tell me your name?"
"... not really."
"Is it one of those cursed names, or something?"
Cursed names? Monika knew nothing about that.
"I don't think so...? I just... ...no one can say my name, or it comes out weird."
"Oh?"
Yuri paused for a moment.
"... well, what do you need help with?"
"Well, you see, I have a friend that I wish could actually see me, and I want to communicate with her, but I can't."
"Oh, well I'm sure I can find something to help."
"Thank you!"
Yuri managed a small smile, but also struggled to hide her excitement.
Monika, on the other hand, immediately got out the files and tampered with them.
She wanted to try any means possible to make it so whatever idea Yuri gets in mind works.
