001 (Mike Wheeler Stranger Things FF) *ON HOLD*

"Thank you everyone! You have arrived at New York City! Enjoy your stay in the city of lovers! Best of luck to you all!" Lew said when we all landed. We all unbuckled and started to get all our bags. "Watch your step on the way out! You're taxi vans will arrive shortly!" Lew said as we all stepped out of the plane. "Okay, so our taxi's will be here soon. So if you want some of us can go to the restrooms while the others stay with our luggage?" My mom proposed. "That's a great idea! Who needs to go to the restroom? We can find a good spot and the other will guard the luggage" Karen said. Some of us raised our hands. 

We all pulled into the corner where a bunch of seats were and settled everything down there. The ones who needed to go to the bathroom left while the others stayed. I looked in the corner and saw Dawn and Holly talking each others ears off. "I've never seen Holly talk this much" Mike whispered to me. I laughed, "I guess Dawn's good at opening people up" 

Mom walked up to us. "So I figured that I would rent a few cars so we could separate places if people want to separate. Would that be a good idea? I mean, it's only if people want to. And It would be cheaper than getting taxi's every time we want to get someone, since they take so long to get there" She said. "That would be great actually! So like everyone, or most, that drive back home could rent a car here. I feel like that would be perfect" 

"Alright. I'm going to check with everyone to make sure that's okay. I'm going to need to search up a car rental place near here, though" I nodded and she went off to talk to everyone else. "Kaysie!" I heard a whisper shout next to me. I looked over and saw Dustin sitting on the ground. "Yeah?"

"If you get your own rental car, does that mean we can go on late night drives???" I laughed. "I mean, I guess it kind of does" I shrugged. "Yes!" He said with a fist in the air. I laughed and him and Mike just disapprovingly shook his head. 

By now everyone was done in the restroom and everyone agreed on the rental car deal. "Taxi for Thirlwall!" A voice yelled. There were 7 men in tuxedos waving their hands around in the entrance of the building. "That's for us" My mom said. We all gathered our bags [and dogs] and walked up to the 5 men. "We are the Thirlwall's" My mom said to the men. "Alright, follow us outside" 

We all followed them outside where 5 vans were waiting. Not the creepy kidnapping vans, vans like SUVs, like soccer mom vans. "Two vans will be full of luggage. Other vans, you must sit in" One of the drivers said. We all shoved our things into the two biggest vans. "Each van has 9 seats, you can pick who goes with who" The man said again. 

Mickey, Suzie, Mike, Dustin, Will, Lucas, Max, and I picked on of the vans with each other. I was going to ask Jane if she wanted to join but Dawn and Holly dragged her to their van. We took all of the dogs, so it was going to be a jam filled van. Mickey, Suzie, and Max sat in the first row. Will, Dustin, and Lucas sat in the second row. Mike and I were in the last row. Dustin looked back at us and purred. I laughed but Mike hit Dustin on the back of the head, which caused me to laugh harder.

"Dustin leave the love birds alone" Max joked. "We're not love birds!" We both argued at the same time. At that moment, we both looked at each other and blushed deeply before looking away from one another. "Yeah... Okay.." Lucas said with a small laugh. "Everyone ready?" The driver said. We all said yeah and soon were on our way to the hotel. 

The car was full of volume so I took out my phone and texted Mike:

What are we?

I pressed send and looked out of the window. I heard his phone vibrate and as soon as he pulled it out I felt his stare on me. He put his phone back in his pocket and pulled my arm to him. I looked up at him confused. Why didn't he answer my text? Does he not like me enough to put a label on us?

He put my arm around his waist and he pulled me out of my seat to be closer to him. "Mike" I whispered. He shushed me. I felt his lips on my forehead, then my cheek, then finally my lips. I kissed back as his hands found their way to my hips. I had to fight the urge to climb on top of his lap and deepen the kiss. I let go of the kiss and looked up at him with a small smile. I sat back in my seat and rested my legs on his lap, as my head was against the window. I felt a ding in my pocket from my phone.

I looked up at him and laughed. I leaned over and kissed his cheek. I felt a soft nibble on my hand. I looked down and saw Diamond trying to get my attention. She climbed up onto the seat and sat on my lap. I pet her until we arrived at the hotel. 

"We are here ladies and gents. Thank you for coming" The driver said pulling up to the hotel entrance. Everyone pulled up at the same time in their taxi's. We all got out of the van and went over to the two that had all our luggage. 

"Okay everyone. I will go check in with the front desk real quick before we head on up. Let's see if they can help us with directions" My mom said before going inside the hotel to the front desk lady. We all got our things and waited outside the door for her to come back. Soon enough she came back. 

"Okay so we are on floor 7 and the whole floor is to us. The elevator is back here and I have all the keys to the rooms. So I was planning that we could settle everything more or less today and find where to rent the cars. Then we can all come back here and have a nice dinner all together in one of the spare rooms. Does that sound good?" Mom asked. Everyone said either "yeah" or "That's a perfect idea". 

We all followed my mom to the elevator and up to the floor where we will be staying for the next [almost] week.
