A lot can happen in a year. Especially recently, big things have happened in the community.
We've started (and finished) many series on GTLive, like Kindergarten, Doki Doki Literature Club, and Emily is Away Too. Dan has joined, along with Amy and Meredith. There was the first GTLive live at VidCon, which was amazing. June 28th-July 6th, 2017 was a historical week where Matt and Steph took a break from livestreaming without telling us why and we started to think they abandoned us. There have been multiple short hiatuses and cancelled streams, but I don't think anyone really minds.
GTLive Crew, y'all are very good at keeping secrets. You kept the fact that Stephanie was pregnant for a whole 6 months! The baby is also due July 4th (my birthday and I'm still not over that possibility).
Some significant episodes of Game Theory have also come out. Like the Logan Loophole one, and the Kindergarten episode. Yeah. Global Gamer too!
Recently, Matt and Steph have probably been very stressed. Two theories just got major backlash, and the community had some drama, but we stopped it. With a baby on the way, and work, and having to do your taxes when you run your own business (which is apparently very hard), Matt and Steph need some time to just relax.
So, relax, close your eyes, and blow out the candles on a birthday cake.
Happy seventh birthday to Game Theory, the show that started it all.
