Night Thinker (Poetry)

o v e r r e a c t e d

The hardest thing in life
Is not letting go,
But twisting around between
Staying or leaving.

He never really say goodbye,
Or promise that he will stay.
You just lost child in the forest
Should you move on
Or waiting someone come and get you.

He let you drown in your own expectation
You knew it in your heart that
He doesn't and never care
But yet, you still hope that he does.
You hope he still has a heart.
He wouldn't do this to you.

So you told yourself to stay, waited
But he never come.
Even his silhouette never shown.
Then you'll regret,
"He left me into pieces again"

It's not his fault,
It's yours.
Because you put yourself into that decision.
You believe that he cares,
when he obviously doesn't.
So stop overreact.
