Camp cabanawan- a summer to remeber

Chapter 1: drop off

Violets pov: I wake up at 8am which is super early for me because I love to sleep in. I've only been off school for less than a week and already have to go to this camp where I have to wake up this early everyday this isn't fair. I brush my teeth, get changed into a tee shirt and some jean shorts and then bring my bag downstairs. Mom loads up the car as I eat my breakfast. Before I know it my mom yells at me to hurry up because we're gonna be late for "initiation" and I feel my stomach turn. What if I don't make any friends? What if I hate it? I'm gonna be stuck at this place all summer this is gonna suck. We're in the car at 10:15 and on our way to camp, I put on some music in my ear buds and rest my head on the side of the car.

Mom: violet wake up we're almost here this is where we turn, I remember the excitement I felt going down this country road on my way to camp.

Violet: ugh, my neck... maybe I'm sick mom we should go back.

Mom: oh violet don't be silly your not getting out of this that easy common it'll be fun. Look there's the lake. Isn't this beautiful?

Violet: yeah I guess if your into bugs and canoeing.

Violets pov: I see the sign "camp cabanawan" fuck we're here the beginning of the worst two months ever. Mom hands me my bags I give her a hug and walk over to a girl who looks to be around 17 with long blond hair holding up a sign that says "g15"

hey I'm violet.

violet great! Everyone's here! I'm Hannah, and I'm your councillor. She's says enthusiastically.

Jheez she's outgoing she on coke. I think to myself. But she does seem really nice, I feel relief because there's at least one nice person here I can talk too.

Hannah walks violet to her cabin. "It's just up here by the lake". Hannah says. "Thank god these bags are heavy" violet responds. They continue to walk on the path when violet trips on a branch. "Are you okay?"violet here's a boy's voice say. She turns around and looks behind her. "Yeah, I think so... just a branch"

"Hah, that was a great fall though. Here I'll help you up" said the boy. "I'm harry, nice to meet you." "Im violet and it's nice to meet you too." (Violet and harry are staring into each other's eyes and there's a moment of silence) "alright you two. Let's get you to your cabin violet" Hannah says "right yeah of course" says violet. "Here I'll take your bags" Harry says as he walks with both bags like they're light as feathers. Harry has the bags and almost takes them into the cabin before Hannah exclaims "no boys in the girls cabins". "Oh right I'll leave them here, sorry" "nice meeting you violet, hopefully I'll see you tonight at dinner" Harry says. And he walks away. Hannah and violet walk into the cabin. Hannah says "Alright everyone, listen up this is our last camper violet! Violet these are your cabin mates. I've got to go check in with the director and let them know everyone's here. Violet set up your bed and unpack and we'll meet at the water front at 4." Hannah leaves.

Violet looks around, there is a group of three girls sitting on one bed braiding each other's hair, and then two girls sitting alone. Violet sits on a bed. "Excuse me. What do you think your doing? That bed is taken" this whole section of the cabin is reserved for the wolf pack. Say your kinda pretty, I'm tessa and this is cici and carly you should join us. Wanna be in the wolf pack and run this camp." One of the girls sitting in the group of three says. These girls seem like bitches violet thinks to herself. "Um I'll pass, I'm just gonna move to another bed thanks." Tessa looks shocked "ok loser whatever but you'll regret it."

Violet makes her bed. One of the girls sitting alone says "what are all your names" "I'm violet" says violet. "I'm Sydney" says a the other girl who was sitting alone. "Cool, I'm lauren" said the girl who asked our names.

"These girls seem nice.. But I really wanna get to know that sexy guy harry". Violet thinks to herself.
