Third person's point of view.

When Hisuiharu heard about The Pokémon World Coronation Series she was instantly registering for it. It was another challenge for her and her Pokémon, and she wanted to see how much stronger she'd gotten since the Kahuna challenges, which weren't as hard as she'd heard. Which also meant she was barely there, other than doing the challenges and beating the Kahunas, she was catching one of every Pokémon.

Like every other region she wanted to catch every single Pokémon in it's respective evolution chain. She'd finished that right before getting the call from Professor Oak about it. So now that's what she's doing, she's on her way back to Oak's lab to get more information before she head off to the Galar region. Opting out on a plane ticket she decided on getting a ride with her Dragonite.

When they landed, Hisuiharu kept Dragonite out of it's ball so it could stretch and get more fresh air as she went in to speak with Oak. "yo!" she greets as she enters the lab. The assistants are falling over themselves to greet her and say hello, "Woah! you guys are shorter than I remember," she said and they all pouted, "It's because you grew." One of them states, "I know, I was just teasing," Hisuiharu says and they pout at her even more.

"Where are those two idiots?" she asked, it took them a moment to realize that she meant, Isamu and Gary. The two boys that started their journeys right after her. "Well Gary's working with Professor Rowan and we're not sure about Isamu, he's worse than you when it comes to checking in with us," one of the assistants said with a grumpy look on her face. Hisuiharu chuckled, "Yeah that does sound like him," she giggled,

"Oh, Hisuiharu you're back, come I want to show you what your here for," Oak said knowing how much Hisuiharu is excited to start, smirking she wiggled by the Assistants and stood with Oak, "Okay so the rules are as such: Trainers are divided into four classes based on their win/loss ratio. Each class is represented by a different type of poke ball: Normal Class, Great Class, Ultra Class, and Master Class." he said and she nodded.

"What about my current standing?" she asked and he smiled, "I'm glad you asked, but I'll get to that in a moment. The battles are all judged by the Drone Rotom, which serves for each of them to increase their overall score. In the event of a draw, no change happens, regardless of the difference between the contestants' rankings. Trainers can only battle against other Trainers in the same class." he added,

"On occasion, one-day events called Battle Festival Challenges are held where many participants can gather to compete with each other at will. These events are held at stadiums and other such venues, and are open for the public to watch." she frowned for a seconded but after thinking about it she realized that's been done before so it's nothing new to her, "Now I'll explain each class," he said and used visuals to help.

"It will also answer your question about your current standing," he said with a smile and she chuckled, "All first-time participants are automatically put into this class, regardless of any previous championships or statuses. The challenger must seek out opposing Trainers in nearby areas, and both must agree to battle." she figured as much it would be unfair for someone with so much experience to be so high up on the board without first working up to it.

"Battles in Normal Class follow the following rules. Both challengers must be of the same class. Both challengers must send out their first Pokémon at the same time. It consists of battles with one or two Pokémon for each Trainer. Both challengers can switch their Pokémon at any time." he explained. "Oh that makes sense," she said, "In the Great Class trainers reach this class after Normal Class." he said,

"They must be between 999th and 100th place to advance to Great Class. The battle rules remain the same as in the Normal Class." she nodded, her Dragonite coming in sat next to her and leaned on her lap which let her wrap her arms around him, he purred in his own way and started to doze off, the two of them smiled at the Pokémon and then returned to the conversation at hand,

"In the Ultra Class, Trainers reach this class after Great Class, obviously they must be between 99th and ninth place to advance to Ultra Class. Unlike in the two previous classes, battles in Ultra Class are pre-scheduled, and each participant's opponent is decided for them. Battles in Ultra Class are usually broadcast worldwide, held in stadiums and other such venues, and have commentators apart from the evaluation of the Drone Rotom." he added, showing her venues.

"Both challengers must be of the same class. Both challengers must send out their first Pokémon at the same time. It consists of battles with three Pokémon for each Trainer. Both challengers can switch their Pokémon at any time. Each challenger can only use one of the following techniques per match: Mega Evolution, Z-Moves, or Dynamax." she frowned at the last one, she wasn't fully aware of it but had heard some things about it,

"And the last one, The Master Class consists of the eight Trainers who are at the top of the world ranking. They are called Masters Eight and are certified by the Pokémon Battle Commission. They battle each other at the end of the season in a tournament where the winner becomes the Monarch. The finals are held in a Single Battle at the Wyndon Stadium, where techniques like Dynamax and Gigantamax can be used." her eyes were wide and he had her full attention.

"Outside the tournament, a member of the Masters Eight may request a battle against the Monarch, where the championship title is put into play. This battle follows the same style used in the championship finals." she's excited now, "But I'm afraid you'll need to beat the gyms of Galar first," she pouted, "For these gyms it's not as simple as your used to," Oak explained, "You need someone to endorse you." he explained.

"Where am I going to find someone to do that?" she asked then started to run names through her mind to pick, and hope that they'll support her, "I've already taken the time to speak with Professor Magnolia, I explained who you are and what you've done, she said she would need to speak with someone first and was able to get back to me," Oak explained and Hisuiharu leaned forward in her seat,

Her Dragonite is wide awake and listening with Hisuiharu as well, "She said she found someone and they want to meet you, she won't tell me who though so you'll have to meet them and tell me," Oak said with a cheeky grin and Hisuiharu chuckled, "Is there anything else you want to know?" Oak asked and she nodded, "Yeah, can I leave now?" she said and he laughed and nodded.

"Oh I should warn you," Oak said as she was getting the right paperwork to travel from one of the Assistants, looking at him she looked over at him, "I suggest leaving your Pokémon here, some of the ones from other regions can't go to Galar, to be safe only take your Leafeon and Venusaur, and as you go let me know which can be there and I'll send them to you," he said and usually she'd be more upset, but for the safety of her Pokémons she'd do as he asked.
