Chapter 62

Hi! I'm sorry I haven't posted in a while, life's been crazy lately! This summer will be extra busy for me so I don't know how much I can post. The next morning, Simon and Paula took the kids to their schools before going to the Baker's for a wedding meeting. Beth took them straight into her office, sat down and pulled out the file she has for her friend's wedding.

"Okay so I did some research on possible places in Hawaii for you two to tie the knot and I found a few venues. Now all these fit your criteria; family friendly, activities to keep your kids entertained and not too expensive. I went ahead and printed out all the accommodations my top three places has. So please look them over, talk with each other and pick an option. I'm content with whatever you choose because at the end of the day, this is your wedding."

Paula looked at her best friend. "Wow you did a lot of work."

Beth smiled. "I'd do anything for you two!"

The happy couple looked at what all the three options had to offer them. There was one that had a daycare and a pool. Another options had these two plus swimming with dolphins, but neither one had any game rooms. It wouldn't be a issue if they couldn't find an venue with that, but it would just be nice. The last venue that was listed on the end of the packet was absolutely perfect. Not only did this place have all the accommodations that the other two places offered but there was also had a water park, hiking trails, huge indoor/outdoor daycare and a movie theater. Also at this venue there was five star restaurants and a gigantic game room; just what they were looking for. Simon and Paula couldn't be happier to find their dream venue!

"Okay we're going with 'Once Upon a Wedding', Beth," Paula said smiling and giving back the packet back to her friend.

Beth grinned. "I knew you were going to pick that venue! And to be honest, it's my favorite too!"

"Oh why is that?" she asked with the sane expression as before.

"Well as you can see there's a lot of activities and I'm never bored. Um I should've mentioned this earlier, but Once Upon a Wedding 's goal is to have your day feel like a fantasy. They want everyone to feel relaxed and well rested. So they recommend that parents and kids either sleep in different rooms or on different floors. But don't worry the kids are never alone. There's a sitter per child to stay with them the entire time. Now with having Sydney there, I don't want her to think she has to babysit all the time. So what I was thinking that during the day, the sitters could come in so that she could enjoy the days with her family and rest up. Then at nights, she could sleep in the girl room while the Willis' brother bunk with the boys. We don't have to do it like this, but this is just an idea I had."

"No I love it! I don't know why I didn't think about that."

"Really? Well thank you. I was also thinking that all the Dolphin Wave children including the teens could be on one floor while us parents could take the suites."

"That's an amazing idea, Beth! It's the best of both worlds!"

"We'll finally get our time," Simon said with a wink.

Paula blushed.

"Right?"

"Yeah I just can't believe you said that."

"Well it's true."

"I know Si, but that was out of the blue."

Beth spoke up. "Another reason why this venue is my favorite is that only elite wedding planners like myself can book at this resort. It's actually where a lot of celebrities get secretly married. I'll make the reservation under my name so no one will know. The staff tends to lose their minds when they find out who's going to be coming. So this way I can surprise them and hopefully no media will get a whiff of this until we're back home. That's the plan for now, but if some word manages to get out, the staff is good about making it go away. This will be a peaceful place for your forever to start!"
