Criteria:
Grammar/Punctuation: 5 points
Pretty straightforward.... how well is the grammar of the work? Did they punctuate it well? Are they willing to edit as they realize their mistakes? Keep in mind, poetry is a special category in terms of this. For poetry, I recommend doing this based on how well their punctuation actually sounds with the flow of the poem.
Development: 5 points
How well is it developed? Are the characters showing change? Is the plot flowing well? How is it carried through from beginning to end?
Presentation: 5 points
Is the writing style good/fitting for the storyline? Are the characters well thought out and their actions reflective of their personalities? Is the work flowing smoothly (or unsmoothly, in some select cases)?
Creativity: 5 points
Even cliches provide a variety in terms of creativity. Is it creative? Is the title fitting with the story? How does the author play their work out? Is the writing style creative? Are the dialogues fitting? Everything that would make this story stand out from others.
Overall: 10 points
How did you enjoy this book? What makes this book absolutely fabulous? What made you want to read this, or even stop reading it? This is your honest feedback on the work, the only place where your opinions should come into play.
