Prank Time

"Come on, Sunny." Sides said as he crept along the hallway with his brother following behind him

"what will uncle Ratch do once he finds out, Sides?" Sunny asked

"I don't know, Sunny. but hopefully not what Skywing would do to us when we pranked him or anybot" Sides said as he and Sunny shuddered

"I hope so, Sides" Sunny said as he followed his brother down the hallway

"here's Ironhide's quarters" Sides said as he cracked the code. 

"we gotta be real quiet, Sides. Ironhide's recharging" Sunny whispered to his brother as they softly walked by Ironhide's berth and quickly grabbed his blaster. 

Sides held the blaster while Sunny put confetti and paint inside so that when Ironhide went to the training room later, his blaster would shoot out confetti and pink paint. 

Sides put the blaster back where it was in the same position as Ironhide had and quickly high tailed it out of there before Ironhide woke up

they went back the medbay hoping that Ratchet wouldn't notice they were gone, but that was not to happen as they were suddenly picked up

"where were you two?" Ratchet asked them as they squealed and giggled

"Ironhide" Sides said simply

"I see and it's a good thing I found you in time" Ratchet said

"why?" Sunny asked

"you two have not had any energon since we woke up earlier today" Ratchet said

"we don't have energon until it's near recharge" Sides said

"I should have known." Ratchet mutters "you two will be getting energon more often than before" 

"why?" Sides asked

"you and Sunny are younglings and it is important that sparklings and younglings are fed more often than adults" Ratchet as he carried his nephews to the rec room

"oh" Sunny said

"now, stay here. I mean it" Ratchet said as he set them down at a table and went to the dispenser and grabbed two cubes of energon. 

Ratchet walked back to the table and handed a cube to each of them. He stayed with them while they drank their energon. 

"All right, who decided to put confetti and paint INSIDE mah blaster?!" Ironhide said as he walked in

"Ah don't know what yah are talking about, 'Hide" Jazz said as he walked in after Ironhide

Sideswipe and Sunstreaker looked at each other ad than back at Ironhide who was splattered in pink pains and laughed

"yah think this is funny?" Ironhide asked them

"Ironhide, they are just younglings." Ratchet said

"Ah want to know who" Ironhide stated

"I believe we may have pranksters now" Prowl said as he walked into the rec room looking at a data pad

~Sides, we just may be in trouble now~ Sunny said via their twin bond

~I agree, Sunny~ Sides replied as he and Sunny looked at Prowl

"what yah mean, Prowl? and we already have a few pranksters like Tracks and Jazz" Ironhide asked, annoyed

"Tracks doesn't prank often neither do the mini bots" Prowl stated

"Prowl, just tell me who" Ironhide said as he crossed his arms 

"the two culprits are right in this room, aren't they Sideswipe, Sunstreaker?" Prowl said as he looked at the twins

"I don't believe yah" Ironhide said

"here" Prowl said as he handed the data pad to Ironhide who looked at the data pad and than to the twins

Once Sideswipe and Sunstreaker saw Ironhide look at them, they quickly tried to make a run for it, just to be picked up by their scuff bars

"what exactly did you two do?" Ratchet asked them as he held the by their scuff bars in front of him

"it was a prank" Sides said as he hung there

"it didn't hurt anybot, uncle" Sunny said as he also hung there

"too bad they're younglings" Ironhide said

"Sideswipe, Sunstreaker, you two will help clean any item that has paint on it except weapons, you will also apologize to Ironhide and furthermore, no holo tv for two solar cycles. Am I understood?" Ratchet said

"yes, uncle" Sides and Sunny said simultaneously as Ratchet set them on the ground

"Ironhide, have them back at my quarters by dusk" Ratchet said as Sideswipe and Sunstreaker walked towards Ironhide

"we're sorry, Ironhide" Sideswipe said as he and Sunstreaker looked up at him with a puppy dog look

"don't ever mess with my weapons again. and Ratchet, I will have them to by dusk" Ironhide said as he picked them up and left the rec room to go to the training room

"well, I'll be in my office writing a report on this" Prowl said as he also left the rec room

"somethin' th' matter, Ratchet?" Jazz asked Ratchet when he saw Ratchet slump in his seat

"those two are going to be just like their carrier" Ratchet said

"how do yah know?" Jazz asked

"their carrier loved pulling pranks on me, our creators, friends and our professors at the Academy" Ratchet said

"it's just one prank, Ratch" Jazz said as he sat down across from Ratchet

"oh, it'll never be just one prank. give it a few solar cycles, and they'll prank somebot else" Ratchet said with a slight chuckle

"but yah love them" Jazz stated 

"that I do, Jazz. they're the only family I have and I'm all they got" Ratchet replied

"well, Ah gotta go Ratch" Jazz said as he stood up

"See you later, Jazz" Ratchet said as Jazz left the rec room

Ratchet stayed there for a little while longer before going back to the infirmary.
