Assisted by a Wolf (An Attack on Titan OC Fanfiction)

Prologue

        "I'm going to hang out with the pack, I'll be back later!" I said stalking to the door. My sister Mikasa and my parents waved. I closed the door behind me and jingled my good luck lily (Which was a birthday present from Mikasa several years ago.) and ran down the dirt path way, leading from the pathway feeling the nice breeze in my fur and tickling my ears. 

        As i walk up the pathway, dragging my feet with my head low from fatigue, I gave a shoulder to the door pushing it open with ease. "im ho-" I started to say but then I saw the blood. it was everywhere, painting the walls in a deep crimson and coating the floor in what was once my mother and father. Things only got worse when I saw the remains of the people that I loved. I started to cry, lowering my head, whimpering at the sight before me. Then I realized that Mikasa was gone and I ran through the house trying to find her but to no avail. I smelled 3 men had been somewhere in the house.

        I followed the scent best I could until I saw it. the old abandoned cabin we were told to never go near. The door was slightly ajar revealing a dark crimson pool of blood. Assuming the worst I crept towards the door trying my best to stay silent. As I peeked around the door, what I saw honestly surprised me. There were 3 mangled corpses of men on the ground. "That explains the blood." I thought. After further examination, I found my sister in the room, shaking uncontrollably, knife in hand. the only thing keeping her from breaking down was a boy's embrace, which I recognized as Dr. Jaegers son.

        I knew in my current state I couldn't face my sister. I failed to stand by her when she needed me most. So, I did the only thing I knew how to do. Run. 

[2 months later, in Levi's POV] 

"Levi did you hear that noise?" Hanji asked. "Yeah, it sounds like a bear... or maybe a wolf?" Levi questioned as they moved toward the sound of a wolf and bear fighting. The wolf was wounded quite a bit. Levi acted in a split second killing the bear with his paring blades. 

        He looked at the wolf and she looked back at him panting heavily from the fight her put up. Gunter tried to approach her, but she snarled at him defense and worry clear in her neon blue eyes. "Petra try to approach it." Levi ordered testing the she-wolf's fear trying to draw a sense of safety. "Y-yes sir." Petra said. As she moved toward the animal, the wolf growled a little raising her hackles but stopped when Petra smiled despite her fear. Petra put her hand out and the wolf nuzzled it. "Would you look at that." Hanji said making her way over petting the wolves matted fur. "Petra can you pick it up?" Levi asked. "I think so." She answered and picked up the now dog like wolf. " Put it on your horse with you." Levi ordered once more. 

        Petra did as she was told and they rode off.

 [SC Castle, Miki's POV]

 I let Petra put bandages on my wounds. "what were you thinking? and look at your fur! it's so matted and dirty" she scolded me right before All the others came in with a blonde man they called Commander Erwin. "This is the animal you were talking about Levi?" He asked. "Yes, she only seems to like females." Levi answered.  

        I was waiting for them to find out that I was part human seeing as i had a collar and i did not act like a normal wild animal or a normal animal in general. "Petra take it's collar off." Levi ordered. "Sir?" Petra questioned. "Just do it." Levi said. Petra did as she was told once again, and I knew she was just doing what she was told, so I let her. "Give it here." Levi demanded. She did, and he held it over a trash can. "Talk. Or it's going here." "wha! Levi have you lost it?" Hanji asked "Put that in the trash and I'll kill you." I said as i turned into my small 9 year old human form my bandaged legs hang over the side of the bed i was on, my eyes seemed to be downcast but really watch everyone's reactions. All but Levi's mouths dropped. 

"You... You're a person?!" Hanji asked but met ignorance. "How did you know?" I asked Levi. "I saw you once when we were out on a ride. At first I thought you were just a wolf so i readied my blades, but then I saw you turn into a little girl". He answered. Hanji grabbed me and shook me. "YOU'RE A PERSON!!!" She yelled. "Yes I am" I said. They asked if I would like to join the Survey Corps, and of course, I said yes i liked these people they felt safe and caring.
