Hey guys! If you are reading this thanks for reading! I love writing these :)

I woke up in a cold sweat. The chilling images still running through my brain of my mother and father crashing into a MAC truck six months ago. The eerie ring of the phone that had rang to  tell me the awful news they were dead. I was gasping.

I wiped the sweat off my face and the tears from below my eyes. I shut off the Alrm clock's beeping sound and slid off my bed.

"Elle. Elle. ELLE." I whispered to my best friend, who was sleeping soundly next to my bed. She was my best friend in the orphanage- We get to leave today since it is our 18th birthday. Yes we have the same birthday- June 2nd. I stripped off my oversized Beatles shirt and grabbed a mid-length pale pink dress and tied a braided brown belt around the waist. I took out the generic-patterend suitcase the Orphanage had provided for me and packed all my belongings into it. Elle was still sound asleep, her blonde hair in knots cascading down her back. I threw her covers off and threw the outfit she had set out on her desk the night before on top of her. The Bright pink bra covered her face. She tipped up and grabbed the bra.

"Bethanyyyy." She groaned.

"Happy birthday to you too babe." I joked.

She stood up and gave me a sleepy hug, a.k.a I love you, Happy Birthday in Morning Elle language.

"Boo, why are you sweating?" She sounded concerned, like it has never happened before.

"Bad dream." I sighed.

She gave me another hug and went to the bathroom to get changed. I finally finished packing my things and said goodbye to the room I had lived in for the past six months- the room that saved my life. Elle came out from the restroom wearing red jeans and white lace top, with a pink tank top underneath. She was even wearing her birthday present from me that she had found and unwrapped a week before, Black heels studded with rhinestones. All the different styles meshed together to form a really cute outfit. I gave her her suitcase, which she had packed two days ago, eager to leave, and she smiled.

"You ready?" She asked, sounding worried but steady.

"As I'll ever be." I answered.

I slipped on so Mary-Jane Heels and strutted out the door, Elle trailing behind.

                                                                      ****************************

We were down in the Orphanage "Lobby" as you could put it, while the owner, Mrs. Grayson, signed our release papers. She was a very nice plump Irish woman who welcomed anyone into her arms. The night I came crying to the Orphanage, She took me to her room and let me sleep in the good bed she had, hers.

"Bethany, Elle. Please come write your signatures."  She said in a thick accent.

Elle and I stepped up to the mahogany desk and took the pens in our hands. Elle's hand was steady, while mine was shaking. I quickly finished Bethany Rile.

Come on, Bethany, Sign the Y! I forced myself to do it.

Bethany Riley

I did it- I'm on my own now.

Mrs. Greyson came out from behind the podium and squeezed us both.

"I love you girls. If you ever need anything, call me." She winced.

"We will." We both said at the same time.

I grabbed my bag as Elle grabbed hers.

"Off you go now. G'bye loves." Mrs. Greyson saw us out the door.

We are now Two adult women roaming the streets of London.
