“Ugh! I missed again.” I groaned glancing at Gabriel again. We were practicing battling and I was “missing” my shot in archery and Gabriel continued to sword-fight with the dummy. I looked at Gabriel and groaned louder. I faced the target as I heard footsteps approach me. I smirked slightly as arms wrapped around me.

“Oh Gabriel, thanks for he-” I looked back admiringly and my smirk quickly faded as I saw Luke guiding my arms.

“No problem.” Luke replied chuckling. My face fell as I turned towards the target and Luke let go of the arrow. It hit it directly and I couldn’t have been angrier. I dropped the bow and arrow as I faced Luke, ready to yell at him.

An ear-piercing shriek echoed throughout the house. I looked at Gabriel as he looked to Luke. They both rushed up the stairs toward the noise and I immediately followed.

I ran up the stairs and was knocked down my blonde hair and glasses. I got up and stared down at Grace.

“Watch where you’re going, four-eyes.” I snapped. Luke glared at me as he helped Grace up.

“Good, you’re alright.” Luke said but as he realized it wasn’t Grace, the worry instantly returned to his face.

Luke ran down the hall while we all proceeded after him. Luke opened the door to see Jhin gripping Belle’s wrist as we watched Belle sink her teeth into his arm. “Get off me, frostbite!” Jhin hissed as he quickly pulled his arm away. I looked at where Belle had bitten him and could see his skin began to freeze. Belle jumped up and ran to us in a panic.

“He set us up! The fire, it was him.” Belle pointed to Jhin. Luke glanced at Jhin as he continued to hold his arm.

“We need to get out of here.” Luke said firmly. I turned to leave when I saw Grace being pulled back.

“You’re not going anywhere.” We looked to see Jhin grab Grace’s arm. Belle looked at Jhin and pushed him. Almost instantly, his body began to turn to ice. We stared at him as little droplets of water fell down the top of his head. Jhin was defrosting. We looked at eachother once more, knowing that there wasn’t much time and fled.
