: Prologue :

In every person's life, there is a defining moment. At the time, I thought I already had mine. In the end, I was wrong because my defining moment made me give up everything I knew. Most people picture that moment as just taking a simple leap of faith but that's not anywhere close to the reality of it. In all actuality, it's going through your daily life when suddenly you find yourself on a cliff. It's no little cliff either. It's that cliff you look down and you can't even see the bottom and for all, you know a big scary monster is waiting there. Then you're left with the decision to jump or turn away. It's a one-shot deal you take it or leave it and you only get one chance. In the case that you jump, you descend at top speed down to the bottom just hoping that it's not as far as it actually looks cause if it was you wouldn't make it out alive.

So no, it's not just a little "leap of faith". It's a death trap where you always get the short end of the stick.

In the case that you don't jump off the edge of the cliff, you're not really any better off cause when you turn around you still have the same life, you had before. Same people, same routine. Same awful wrong leap of faith you made the first time. The worst part is you're stuck wondering if you should have just jumped.
