Sal.
Oh. My. Lord
I parked my car and turned off the ignition. I hopped out of the car and tended to the mess.
I looked down at my shoes and realized I wasn't dressed for this. I put my hand to my temple and shook my head.
I walked towards the garden and looked at the plants.
The carrots got pulled out of the ground, collards got chewed up, onions got smashed deep in the ground, then their's a hole Sal dug trying to find I don't know what.
I turned and looked at Sal in disbelief.
"Sal!" he turned and looked at me with his tongue sticking out.
Aw. I can't ever be mad at Sal he's just too cute!
I try to hold back my smirk and I fail. Sal runs towards me and jumps up on me.
"No Sal go inside!" He sits and stares at me "Now" I say with a stern voice. He whimpers and jogs to the house with his head down.
I stare at him to make sure he goes inside. He looks back at me. I point my finger at the house.
Then he climbs into the hole in the door.
What to do first.
Well, I can't really plant mom's garden. Because she got her seeds from a store that's two hours from here. That's how much of a green thumb she is. She makes sure to find the best seeds she can find before planting them.
I'll just have to explain what happened to her garden. She will be devastated. She worked so hard on this garden.
I walk over to dads toolset. I immediately smell Sal's waste.
I stroll over the hose and turn it on and spray his tools. It's the best I can do
Then I go to the barn and grab a shovel and shovel up his poop.
So disgusting
I pick up the trash cans he pushed over and put the trash back into the bin.
Everything is fixed but the garden. I feel sorry for mom.
I put the shovel back where it belongs and begin to walk towards the house. As I walk in the house I see Sal in the corner of the kitchen laying down.
Come to think of it... Who let him out anyways??
He must've climbed out of the hole in the door.
He is such a smart little nugget. I walk in the kitchen and bend down in front of Sal and rub his head. He looks up at me. "Wanna go for a walk?" I ask sweetly. He immediately jumps up and runs to the table beside the door and hops on it to get the leash.
Sal's a corgi so that means he's playful and outgoing. He likes learning how to do tricks and playing with his dog friends. That's why he's so energetic.
He jumps down from the table and jogs over to me and hands me the leash.
"Alright" I bend down in front of him and place the leash on his collar "Let's go take a walk"
I open the door and walk out over to the sidewalk and begin walking Sal. He immediately takes off running and drags me behind him.
Such a strong little dog
I try to stop him but he pulls harder. So hard that the wind makes his ears flap up and down while his tongue is sticking out.
We arrive at the pet park and Sal slows down and walks to the gate innocently. Then we walk over to the bench and sit. He jumps on the bench beside me. I take off the collar and he takes off running to his friends.
