"Hey Love, you wanna go get some ice cream?" Daddy asked.

"Please! I want strawberry and mango." I started bouncing in my seat just thinking about it.

"Anything for you Princess, but first we need to go get mommy and run a couple errands." He started up the car and I dozed off.

"Hey, wake up, so you can go in with us." Daddy said shaking me.

I got out the car and we walked into a beautiful house. The house had a pretty waterfall and stones. There was a garden in the back and bushes that were cut perfectly in the front. The grass was freshly cut and there were a lot of cars in front of the house. There were men by the door, but it wasn't even half the men that lived here because there were a lot of cars outside.

We walked inside and the floor was made out of marble. There was a grand staircase that curved around like a spiral. There were all kinds of paintings and pictures hanging on the wall and the house was well furnished.

The men that were standing right by the door started walking to the back. I felt scared being around so many people, so I grabbed Daddy's hand. He gave me a little squeeze and smiled down at me, almost like he was telling me that everything was going to be okay. We came to a burgundy door and the man stopped. He knocked three times and the door slowly opened.

It was like an office behind the door. There was a comfortable looking couch on the far wall and a glass table in front of it. There was a desk by the window that had papers neatly stacked on top and an expensive looking laptop. There was a man sitting behind the desk and when he saw daddy he stood up.

The man looked down at me and I started fidgeting. He was a scary man. He had a scar going down his face and his eyes were cold. He looked like he would hurt Daddy, so I hugged Daddy's leg. A lady came to the door and she walked to me.

"Hello, darling." She bent down, so she was my height.

"Hi." I buried my face further into Daddy's leg.

"Are you hungry?" She asked and I shook my head, "why don't we go fix you something to eat?"

I looked at Daddy, for permission, and he shook his head. I slowly came out of my hiding spot and grabbed the lady's hand.

The lady took me to the kitchen and we baked some cookies. We also made everyone lunch. After we got done making lunch we went around and served it. Then she took me to the garden and she started naming all the flowers. They had a nice garden with a lot of different color flowers. There were red flowers, orange flowers, purple flowers, and white flowers. They also had a big water fountain in the middle that had decorations around it. There was a carving of a wolf in the middle and a beautiful light that made the eyes glow.

The lady took me around back and there was a playground. They had the biggest slide ever and a homemade tire swing. There was also a sandbox and it had a sandcastle that you could go in. I felt like I was in a Disney movie. I ran to the sandcastle and walked inside. The sandcastle had steps made out of stone, marble floor, a chandelier made of the cleanest glass I'd ever seen, I wanted to go and explore more, but something told me to wait.

When I walked out the sandcastle, a man came outside and said something in the lady's ear, which wasn't fair because Daddy said secrets were not good and we should never hide something from other people, or lie. The lady picked me up and walked back to the burgundy doors. She put me down and again knocked three times. The door slowly opened and I walked straight to Daddy.

"Daddy, guess what-" He cut me off.

"Not now!" I could tell by his voice that something was wrong.

"What's wrong?" I looked up and his face was blank.

I started to get nervous. I did not like seeing Daddy like this. Something was wrong and I wanted to leave.

"Daddy, can we leave now?" My words fell on deaf ears.

It looked like the man and Daddy were having a conversation... but nobody was saying anything. I tilted my head in confusion. So many questions were going through my head, but I was too scared to speak.

"Give me the girl!" The man demanded, looking daddy in the eyes, leaving no room for questioning.

Nobody moved. It got quiet. All I knew was that I wanted some ice cream. I felt Daddy's hand slipping and he set me down. One of the men took my hand, but I reached out for Daddy. He didn't reach back. Instead, he started backing up and moving to the door.

"Daddy..." I called. "Can we go get ice cream now?"

He looked back, but his face was blank. Why did he let the man grab me?

"Keep walking... we had a deal." Daddy looked pass me to the man leaning on his desk.

Daddy gave me one more look and he shook his head and started walking towards the door. He was gonna leave me. No! No! No! No! No! No! No!

"Daddy don"t leave me! You told me we were going to go get ice cream!"

        He kept walking.

"Daddy! Daddy! Please don't leave me!" I desperately called out.

My cries fell on deaf ears. He shook the man's hand and walked out. I thought I was daddy's little girl. I thought that Daddies were supposed to protect their children and not leave their children, but it was all a lie.

The crazy part is mommy didn't help me. She just stood there with a grin on her face. She didn't even make eye contact throughout the whole exchange. I mean sometimes I was hard-headed, but children are supposed to be hard-headed.

After my parents left, the man picked me up and put me in a room upstairs. I couldn't stop crying. Why would Daddy leave me here? Is he coming back?  Daddy, please don't go... I need you.
