Maria smiled as she tapped the forehead of her daughter, she looked at her knowing that her daughter is currently bored and so she said to her "You can go play in the garden if you want, but don't go into the woods okay?" Maria said while stroking her hand on Katyusha's hair. "Okay!!" Katyusha replied as she stood up and ran towards the garden.
Katyusha arrived on the garden, she was amazed by the fragrance of the flower on the hedge which was a fruitful result because of her mother's hobby. The hedge was too tall for Katyusha that she couldn't see the place where she currently is, there was a possibility of her to be lost in a maze like hedge but she was as a naive child as she is, she's confident that she wont be lost that easily for she is convinced that she knows the way out. Katyusha couldn't ask help from her mother like she usually do because she knows that her mother is busy and she must not be bothered. 'I think I should go by myself' she thought to herself as she moved forward. After a few minutes of wandering around the maze like hedge, Katyusha realized she was lost, she kept walking until she was exhausted and she decided to sit on the bench as she slowly dozed off due to exhaustion.
"Lady Katyusha! Lady Katyusha! Please wake up, you shouldn't stay here" a voice was heard shouting at her inside her head as if the person calling out on her was nearby which made her startled forcing her to wake up, but something seems different this time, she woke up in her room, so she stood up and walked towards the window to open it.
Katyusha opened the window as the flash of sunlight hit her eyes making her rub her own eyes "its already dawn?" She asked to herself. She decided to get out of her room and run towards the living room, as she opened the door, she saw the a gift box with her name on it. She picked the box and opened it and found out that inside the box was her favorite doll that she wanted to have, it was a doll which has a blonde hair and blue eyes and it wore a pretty dress made out of silk. She was so happy for the gift she received so she ran towards the living room to look for her parents and to thank them for giving her such wonderful gift, but they were nowhere to be found, instead there were more gifts laying on the room, Katyusha has no time to open the presents for she really wants to find her parents as soon as possible.
Katyusha ran on the hallway but she was stopped because she heard a noise in the dining hall, so she sprinted to the room and opened it. Katyusha stepped inside the room only to find out that everyone was there, laying on the floor, lifeless with bloodstains on their attire and torn marks on their fabrics. The whole place looks like it was attacked by a vicious beasts with the floor carpet and walls left with scratch marks, the broken furnitures and all of the bloodstains on the room. Katyusha was shocked on what she witnessed as she curled on her knees and started to scream, however those beasts who attacked the family hear it and decided to run towards the dining hall, Katyusha started to cry in sorrow upon seeing her lifeless parents on the floor, she went to them and shook their bodies as an attempt to wake them up but it failed, the beasts peeked on the door as they slowly creeps in to claim their meal. The beasts step was going closer and closer to Katyusha with a silent growl.
"Lady Katyusha Run! There are beasts behind you!!" A voice shouted which made Katyusha opened her eyes into reality as she looked back, she saw them, their sharp claws and teeth along with their mouth drooling as if they were bloodthirsty savages, And their black fur covered with bloodstains which shows that they were the ones who killed everyone in the dining hall. Katyusha was terrified with their appearance, her legs were shaking and the fear was enough to wet herself and decided to run for her life while the beasts were chasing her as she slammed the door after going out of the dining hall, buying her time for an escape while the beasts are trying to break the door with their razor sharp claws.
Katyusha ran from left to right, running for her life but she knew the beasts would outrun her so she went back to her room and locked the doors as she started to hide inside her closet. She was horrified on what she witnessed but it gets even worse as a beast broke the door down and has entered her room, looking for her as they started to sniff around the place then Katyusha heard the same voice saying "Lady Katyusha call me by my name and I shall fight to protect you." Katyusha heard it clearly but she was too confused on what the voice meant about its name but she heard the voice again saying "Master, you will die here if you failed to call me by my name or shall I say you will be sleeping on that bench forever!" Katyusha wiped her tears as she asked while she was stuttering "B-But who exactly are you?" And the voice replied "Remove your necklace and you will know who I am" with those instructions Katyusha removed her necklace and found out that there was something that was carved on her necklace but she couldn't understand it, Katysuha was suddenly shocked from a burst of information coming inside her brain "W-whats this?" She asked herself as she remembered some information or memories of the past that she didn't know but somehow the voice was familiar it seemed that she knew what it is but she can't seem to remember what exactly it was as her left eye started to glow as its color is turning into crimson red as she shouted "Klara, Come forth and defend your master from these vile beasts!!" Then the whole place froze in time as an individual was slowly rises from the ground and said "I thank you for calling out my name, Master Katyusha, allow me to introduce myself, My name is Klara and I shall serve you from here on as your companion." The person bowed infront of her but Katyusha was shocked, she noticed that Klara's appearance is nearly identical to hers, her platinum hair was the only exception but other bodily appearance are matched, her facial features and her body are perfectly matched "Why do you look like me?" Katyusha confusedly asked but she was stopped by Klara "Now is not the time master, we have things to take care of" Klara said as she looked at the beast in front of her "Klara watch out!!" Katyusha shouted as the beast leaps towards Klara with its sharp claws ready to inflict a fatal wound on Klara.
