I was the first over to where Kacy was he was flat out on the floor in front of the stairs with his head laying sideways there was a pool of blood around his head. "Kacy!" I screamed as I knelt down next to his head, I didn't want to touch him in case I made it worse "D-dad call.. call an ambulance." Katelyn says with tears streaming down her face. My dad rushed into the kitchen and grabbed the phone

Paramedic-p

P-"hello sir what is your emergency?"
D- "hello? My son has fallen down the stairs a few moments ago and he's-he's bleeding out of his head we-we need help!"
P- "ok sir stay calm I have already sent an ambulance and their own there way. Sit tight for a few minutes, Okay?"
D- "Th-thank you."

My dad hung up the phone and came back with a fluffy towel "Girls we need to put this towel on his head to help the bleeding." He said trying to suppress a sob. "Ok I'll do it." I say as I take the towel from my dad "Katelyn can you lift his head up slowly?" She nods "Ok Kacy if you can hear us stay still and don't move, you might have a concussion, Katelyn on three, one, two, three go." Katelyn lifts up Kacy's head about two inches off the ground while I carefully put the towel under neath his head and rap it back around so it would cover his forehead. Then there were lights and a siren going off that was coming closer to our house. "Dad go meet them me and Kate will stay with Kacy." "Ok I'll be right back." My dad ran out the front door and down onto the sidewalk and waited for the ambulance to pull up, they talked for a few seconds then ran into the house with a stretcher. The paramedics were very nice and helpful people they picked Kacy up and put him on the stretcher . "The towel was a smart move guys, it helped with the bleeding."One of them told us. They pushed Kacy out of the house and to the ambulance "I'm sorry guys but only one of you can come." One of the paramedics told us I looked up at my dad and he responded with "Nicki will go with you guys while me and my oldest will follow in our car." "Ok sir we will be headed to the Phoenix drop hospital just follow us." My dad and Katelyn ran over to the car and got in ready to go "miss you can hop into the back and sit by your brother." "Okay." I said as I hoped into the back of the ambulance and took a seat by Kacy's head on one of the chairs that was mounted to the ambulances wall. "Ok he needs an I.V and a breathing mask, he's responsive but he's knocked himself out." One of them said to another Kacy was then hooked up to a breathing mask and has an I.V needle in his arm. One of the paramedics turned to me and started to say "He will be fine.." "Nicki." I respond. The paramedic looks at me and continues. "Thanks. He'll be fine Nicki he's just lost a bit of blood and he has smacked his head pretty hard." "Thanks." I say as I look to the floor. "Do you know what happened?" one of them asked me "No not really we were about to eat dinner when Kacy came galling down the stairs, he might have tripped on a step or just fell I don't know." I reply "Thank you anyway Nicki." The rest of the ambulance ride was filled with sirens blaring and the paramedics keeping Kacy's vidal signs normal. But the last thing I remember is staring at Kacy's bloody head and thinking "he's going to die." Then I blacked out.
