Prologue

The story about Cinderella and the fairy godmother is probably one of the most obvious misconceptions of magic that foolish humans tell their offsprings.

A load of bullshit!

Let me tell you a story about its true origin and purpose.

Once upon a time, in an era where humans were vile and wicked. I think you call it the "Dark Ages" or whatever the fuck you lowly humans named it. People would sin and ravage the lives of the weak without reason or cause - only to be encouraged by the corrupt laws of Justice that their leaders had made. Wars that raged between brothers would result in the destruction of an entire village, an entire country, an entire continent.

Murder, adultery, greed (the list goes on) lead to a lot of bloodshed and this gave birth to a greater evil. A being originally known as the Dark Veil Magi. Some called it the Devil, others knew it as Death. But it was neither.

The supernatural being known as The Devil- used by parents to scare children to do good, does not exist. The angel of Death or whatever corny bitch they sought to be one of the so called Four Horseman- is just a fucking made up story. It is quite offensive just reading about it and I just want to barf out magnitudes of shit everytime someone brings it up in a conversation.

The Magi introduced magic to this world which served as a medium for life and death, poverty and riches, darkness and light. Much like money, magic can buy someone's life and save it from death, it can change a piss poor orphan into the richest little fucker in the world. Or it can ward off darkness and sustain light.

The price for magic orginates from the Magi's birth ingredient. Blood. It is more of a sacrifice really because it takes away one's life force as payment.

Centuries of chaos, the Magi was responsible for many deaths and its power only fueled by the bloodshed of many innocents.

However a small group of humans known as Xyras (a witch coven) learned of how to harness power in the form of magic from blood. They used this discovery to fight back against the plague that the Magi had bestowed upon the world.

After years of struggle, the witches came face to face with the dark being and they unleashed more havoc as they battled. The power of the Xyras could not match that of the evil one, and instead of slaying it, they only managed to temporarily banish it into a prison world conjured by dark magic. A place known as the Veil.

As price for this spell, many of the Xyras descendants were drained of their life force. But the war was not over, the Magi had left behind an army of darklings, to one day free their master from the Veil.

Over the centuries, the story of the Dark Veil Magi was soon forgotten by many, hence they twisted the evil incidents into fairytales and rainbows.

You see, the story of the fairy godmother, Cinderella and the glass slipper was true. But she did not live happily ever after. The little bitch payed a price for the beautiful gown, her life force was drained just like any other greedy whore in the human world.

But how do I know of this you ask?

Hahaha. I am The Dark Veil Magi and I of course killed her myself.
