Ellen’s POV
I drove up Annabel’s road. She ran to the car and gave me a big hug.
“Congrats El.” She said.
I thanked her and we drove off towards the mall. We arrived, paid for parking and started our “mall routine”. We always went to the juice bar and got our favourite drink. Then started on the bottom floor and made our way up to the top floor. We always went into almost every store in the mall.
“I need a new outfit for tonight.” I said while scanning all the stores on the first floor. I couldn’t afford a new outfit from any of these places, well I could. But I hated spending a lot of money on clothes. I was a sale kind of girl.
Then it was like another sign, my favourite store was having a huge summer sale. “Oh my goodness Belle, that’s two signs in one day, tonight is going to be amazing, I can feel it.” I said very excitedly while pointing to the store. She laughed and we ran into the store and I tried on at least fifty outfits it felt like. Finally, I walked out of the change room wearing a beige flowy dress with thick straps, light ruffles on the front and a tie around the waist. Annabel handed me a pair of strappy heels, and it made the outfit.
“Ellen, its perfect.” She said as she stared at my outfit.
I took a long look at myself in the mirror. She was right. The dress fit me perfectly. It was the perfect dress for tonight. I put on my regular clothes and we went to the cash to pay for my dress and shoes. We hit every store in the mall then decided to head home so Annabel could help me get ready, since it was already four o’clock.

I went inside and jumped in the shower while Annabel ironed my outfit. (I was going all out tonight). I blow dried my hair and then curled it, I made it look natural, not all done up and fake. Annabel decided to stay at my house overnight, and stay at the house while I was on my date with Niall. She knew we would have alot to talk about.
By the time I got my make-up done and put on my outfit it was 6:30. Only thirty minutes until I would see him again. And only ten minutes until I would have to leave to be there on time.When I realized how close I was to seeing him again, that’s when the nerves set it. Niall held my entire heart in his hands. All I could do was hope he doesn’t break it again. 6:40 showed up on the clock.
“This was just so out of the blue, eh Belle?” I said while I fidgeted with my jewelry and walked outside.
“I’m sure he will explain everything when you get there! Have fun Ellen!” she had a huge smile on her face. I knew she was happy for me.
Once I got there I sat down on a swing by the lake, and checked my phone for the hundredth time tonight. It was 6:58. I had waited two years for this moment, and now I just had two short minutes to wait.
Suddenly I felt a hand on the small of my back.
“Ellen?”
I smiled really big and turned around…
