Cabier was staring at the Libra scale, without fear it would be chaotic for spirits and mortals alike, but why couldn't the Guardians see that?Fear is important, without that children wouldn't know what is dangerous and wouldn't stay away from them. The scale was tipped;to Cabier's horror. He tried everything to regain it back, from trying to turn Dreamsand into Nightmare sand and even trying to break in North's workshop. But it was no use,he was considered a myths among myths;they couldn't see him or the Council. The coldness and emptiness when a Yeti passes through him was sickening,it was so cold.

He stared at the chessboard on his table, his face blank without emotions and his pale, thin fingers gripped the white Queen.Yes,it fascinated him how much a Queen could do,..compared to a King.He twirled the chess piece between his fingers before crushing it with a loud snap. The head fell to the floor with a thud, leaving Cabier with a body, his crimson red eye staring at it.There was always a eyepatch over his right eye,it was needed. An accident occurred to him just like to Fail's arm,he lost his eye.It was an accident of course, the Dreamsand was never meant to touch any of the Council's members. It was so good, but it was too warm, too hot,he was alienated by dreams.

They weren't familiar to him.It was something, much more different he'd live for thousands of years with no dreams nor nightmares just...empty nights. The Libra scale tipped more downwards frightening Cabier out of his wits,he couldn't believed it,that it was tipped! His hands was shaking, letting the remains pieces of the chess piece fall down, and his mouth agape. He let out-a quiet dramatic-gasp and ran out of his room and locked the door before running down the stairs and took a right and at the end of that hall was;the library. He opened the huge door with his hands and raced to one of the scroll racks with his crimson eyes darting from another scroll to another.

He felt fear, then hopelessness, and lastly relief. He picked the scroll out carefully, not scratching the edges and unfold it.Yes,It was the Scroll of Balance,The Council was the only group that own it.The scroll..was blasphemy to Cabier's eyes,it was filled with nothing. It was just a huge, black hole in it,making all of the cursive words blurry and unable to be seen.He dropped the scroll, his mind couldn't process what happened. He grabbed a fistful of his hair and groaned,how..how exactly are they going to fix the scale? They couldn't just walk up to The Guardians or any other spirit o-a thought clicked in Cabier's mind, they were invisible.

He cried out in horror, oblivious to the fact that he himself had spent thousands of years like this.It was too much,he wanted to snap.Odd sounds were coming from him, strange and choked sounds with ragged breaths. He calmed down, putting his face in both of his palms, sitting on the library floor. The sounds stopped,he wasn't going to drown in..this emotion..and with a blinding light,he was back in his room.

It hit him,it was all just a Night-wait,he whipped his head towards his door to find Pitch standing there.A sympathetic gaze was on his face, before he could step in any further,"Its okay,Pitch.I-I really don't mind."Cabier said, his good eye wandering to see his eyepatch exactly where he left them;on his nightstand. He heaved a sigh with relief, not noticing the sweat of fear on his forehead, and attached his eyepatch.Pitch walked towards him and was at the edge of the bed,his golden eyes scanning the bruises.

"What has the years done to you, boy?"Pitch said, his face was not the usual smug one in fact he almost looked sorry as he traced a spot on Cabier's hand,"To make you tremble under its very mention?".Pitch knew that Cabier had suffered the merely same fate as he did over his loneliness, just in a more painful way,"I knew it would be painful, but I never expected this. You shouldn't be suffering the fate."

Cabier shifted his hand a bit, feeling slightly uncomfortable as he put them underneath the blanket,"Greed cannot stay forever you know,Pitch?Even Generosity can't."Pitch relented with a sigh, his lips forming a smile as he brought out something that he had been holding,a slice of cake on a plate with a sliver fork.Cabier raised an eyebrow in suspicion, eyeing the cake,it was beautiful in a mathematical way, designs of spheres decorated it.

Pitch chuckled, before setting the plate on the nightstand,"Oh,there's no need to worry, friend.Moors didn't baked it along with Collision.".And with that,he left the room leaving Cabier with the cake.He sighed,a smile gracing his lips as he look up to the Sun,his crimson eyes twinkling with delight as he dug into his meal.

"Thank you,Kozmotis."He whispered to no one,his voice filled with a hint of sadness yet filled with fondness,"I will never forget your deeds of kindness.".And with that,he sat in his bed, once remembering his memories....
