*Shailene's POV*

After swimming with Miles for a little while longer I told him I had to go, because I was exhausted, but instead of going to my apartment I went to Theo’s. I know he has a lot to unpack and I might as well help him. I knocked on his door, standing in the hallway with my towel wrapped around me, dripping water onto the floor.

He opened the door a few seconds later, and I could hear music playing inside. “Shai? What’s up?”

“I figured you might want help unpacking?” I asked, feeling slightly awkward. Maybe this was a bad idea…

He smiled, his dark eyes narrowing as they looked at mine. “Really? You would do that?”

“Yes,”

He looked down at me still in my towel. “Alright, well come in.”

I walked through his apartment that looked identical to mine. There were about ten small boxes on the floor, some of them opened, and some random things strewn across the floor.

“May I use your bathroom to change out of my bathing suit real quick?”

“Oh. Yeah, sure. El casa, su casa!”

I started laughing as I walked towards the bathroom, looking over my shoulder. “It’s mi casa su casa, smarty pants.”

I heard him laughing as I shut the door. I know he is actually very smart though. Before he started getting jobs as an actor he went through four years of college, majoring in philosophy, and he was also in a really good band. I’ve heard him sing before, and he is amazing. His deep, thick accent gives him a unique singing voice that could lull you into a trance.

After I had changed into my legging’s I realized that I forgot my t-shirt upstairs in the pool room. Shit. I walked out with my bathing suit top still on. He looked up and then grinned.

“Forget something?” He asked, smirking.

“Shut up,” I said, blushing. “I’m just going to run up there and get it real quick.”

“Run up? It’s like fifteen more floors. Here, just let me give you one of my shirts for the time being, and you can get it after.”

“Okay… You sure, I don’t want-"

“I’m sure,” He cut me off.

He handed me a dark blue shirt and I walked back into the bathroom to change into it.

“Okay, what should I do?” I asked when I came back, kneeling besides him next to the boxes.

“Well, this whole box is clothes, and I can do that. This is just random objects, which you probably wouldn’t know where I want these. You could put away the kitchen things?”

“Kitchen things it is!” I said, looking into the box.

“Shai, are you sure you want to do this? I don’t want to bore you.”

I smiled, touching his arm. “Theo, I literally have nothing else to do. I don’t know my way around Atlanta yet, and I’m pretty sure there are paparazzi outside anyways.”

He nodded. I carried the kitchen box over to the nice and expensive looking kitchen with marble counters and stainless steel appliances. I heard him start singing along with the loud music. He listens to pretty good music.

“It doesn’t matter where I put this stuff?” I asked loudly.

“No! Just find a place!” He called out.

I sang along with the music for a while, emptying the two kitchen boxes full of utensils and finding places for everything. He actually has quite a good supply of things, and I didn’t even think he cooked that often. When I turned around with a blender in my hand I smacked into something.
