chapter 4

Vanessa's POV

It was almost 8 o'clock and I was getting pretty tired. I started nodding off as I was watching one of my favorite movies, "The Titanic." It was sad, yet heart-warming. I asked Riker to come watch it with me because he told me he had never watched it. I was completely shocked at the time... And now I can't believe I was falling asleep in one of the best movies of all time. I was embarrassed when Riker asked me, "Do you wanna go to your room?"

I shook my head with a yawn. "No, I'm good. I wanna finish the movie."

He shook his head and smiled. "Okay." His smile sent shivers down my spine, but I ignored them. I was too busy trying to stay awake to even think or look at the movie, now. And before I knew it, sleep took over me.

I noticed it was 10am as I rolled over onto my stomach where I saw the alarm clock. I sighed and rolled back over to my original position. I opened my eyes wide in shock when I realized Riker was sleeping soundly beside me. Then, I noticed that I wasn't even in my room...

'Oh, yeah... We were watching a movie.' I sighed in relief. I must've fallen sleep at some point... I guess I was really tired. 'But how did I get in his bed?..... He must've carried me over here.' I looked at his sleeping face and smiled. He looked so cute while in this peaceful state.

Since I was now wide awake, I was also able to take in all my other surroundings as well. Once again, I opened my eyes wide with a shocked expression. Riker was only in his boxers?!

I looked at his body this time and I felt a shiver go down my spine. He was only wearing 1 layer of clothing... I stopped myself from thinking anymore dirty thoughts and shook my head. I need to get a grip. I didn't have the courage to look at Riker again, for I was afraid I might jump him or something. Instead, I left him a note and headed downstairs to make breakfast.

Ross's POV

I awoke before Laura, who was sleeping soundly beside me. I took in her features... Her face, as always, was beautiful and her hair was a mess, yet it was sexy. I am so lucky to have someone like her in my life. I smiled as I tried to get up and out of bed without waking her. I've never been the quiet type of person, so I wasn't surprised when she woke up.

"Hi" I said nervously. I was hoping she wasn't mad about being woke up like this, but when she smiled at me, I knew I didn't need to worry.

"Hi" She smiled. "What time is it?" She asked with a yawn.

I looked at the clock and said "11:00am precisely"

She got out of bed and walked towards me as her beautiful brown hair fell down past her shoulders. She wrapped her arms around me and planted a kiss on my lips that sent shivers down my spine and made me feel warm. I was sad when she pulled away, I didn't want it to end.

"Okay, lets go eat some food!" She grabbed my hand and pulled me out the door and lead us to the staircase.

Riker POV

I looked at the clock as I rubbed my eyes. It was 11:30am and I was awakened by laughter coming from the hallway just outside my bedroom. I have no doubt that it was Ross and Laura. Ugh. I hate it when my beauty sleep is ruined like this, especially by Ross. I always tell him to keep quiet, but he always wake me up.

I looked over when I noticed a note on my desk. It was from Vanessa.

~'Good morning! Thank you for watching a movie last night with me. It was lots of fun and also thanks for letting me sleep in your bed. We should watch movies more often!

                ~PS: There will be food made for you when you get your butt out of bed!!!'

I smiled as I read the note. Then, I hurried to get dressed and went downstairs. I smelled the air as I walked to the kitchen. I could smell the sweet aroma of pancakes and hear the sound of sizzling bacon. My stomach growled as I entered.

"Riker! I was wondering when you were gonna show! I was about to go up there and get you, but I guess there's no need for it now. Here you go." Vanessa handed me a plate filled with food. There was two slices of toast and a dippy egg. There was also 3 sausages and a stack of pancakes with two pieces of bacon on top.

"Wow." I said speechless. I don't know how I'm going to eat all of this, but since vanessa made it, Ill find a way to eat it all.

Laura's POV

I watched as Riker gulped down and impossible amount of food. After breakfast, we all decided to go school shopping. School was going to start within a few days, so we decided it was best that we go before it was too late.

"Okay, Everybody ready?" I looked around the room to see if everyone was here. Riker, Ross, Vanessa, and me. After I did a head count we were out the door and headed to the mall.

A/N: Sorry I haven't updated in a week... I've been grounded off ALL electronics!!!! So here you guys go! I hoped you liked it.

The next part will be them going to the mall, etc.... Can't give away too much, but stay tuned to find out.
