Chapter 30

*Taylors POV*

I kinda got lost on my way to school. But I finally found the school and parked next to a black Pruis.
I walked into the front door and into lobby, and followed the little signs that said "<--- Main Office"
I went into the guidance office and Mrs. Cooper gave me my schedule. She told me that it's fourth period at the moment and it's lunch.
I'm not that hungry but I guess I'll go and try to make some friends. When I found the cafeteria, everybody looked at me and it went silence then suddenly a group of girls started screaming. "OH MY GOD IT'S TAYLOR CANIFF!!!!"
Oh shit.... I didn't want to disturb any classes so I just walked into the cafeteria accepting the attacks from the group of girls.
Two more girls started walking towards the group and then I realized it was Faith and Felicity?
Faith pushed through the group and grabbed my hand and pulled me out. She walked me towards a table and I sat next to her in the empty seat. I looked around everybody was staring at me and the group of girls were glaring at Faith.
"Taylor what are you doing here?" Felicity asked.
"Well, my mom thought online schooling and home schooling wasn't helping me for my senior year so she sent me to public school." I shrugged.
"Oh. Can I see your schedule?" Faith asked. I pulled the paper out of my pocket and unfolded it and showed it to her.
She laughed. "Taylor we have all the same classes."
"Thank god! I don't know where to go!" I chuckled.
"Didn't the student council give you the orientation?" a girl next to Felicity asked.
I shook my head no. The girl nodded.
Faith crossed her arms and leaned back in her seat. I looked at her arms and there were bruises and scars. I grabbed her arm and looked at it, then looked up her.
"Dad." She whispered.
I pulled her onto my lap and I hugged her. "I'm sorry. I should have said something so you could stay last night."
She shrugged. "It's okay."
"No. Faith. It's not okay. What's happening to you is not okay. It's child abuse."
I kissed her arm lightly and she hugged me.
"Ew, Taylor. What are you doing with that?!" A girl asked. She had WAY too much makeup on. It looks like powder. She looked like she tripped into a clowns tent.
"What do you want Kaylee?" Faith asked.
"Why are you hanging with Taylor Caniff? He doesn't deserve you. You don't deserve him." Kaylee said with her hands on her hips sassy like.
"Kaylee, just go away. We don't want to cause trouble." I said as I pulled Faith closer. Kaylee rolled her eyes and walked away, her heels clicking on the floor.
"What a bitch!" Felicity said under her breathe. I laughed at her. "What?! It's true!"
An old lady walked into the cafeteria and looked at Faith and I. "Ah! Taylor Caniff! Just the student I'm looking for. I see you already made some friends. That's good."
I nodded. "Yeah. I met these girls last year at MagCon. Faiths my girlfriend."
"Oh! How exciting! I have seen that Ms. Evans and you, Mr. Caniff, have some classes together. Do you mind if you show him around the school next period?"
"No problem, Mrs. Verdonick!" Faith said with a nice smile.
The lady left. "Who was that?" I asked.
"That was the school principal." Felicity answered.
I nodded.

~*~*~*~*~

The rest of the day went by pretty fast. Faith showed me around the school, I was attacked by girls asking for autographs but, for the first time ever, I resisted.
"Do you want to come over?" I asked Faith holding her hand.
"What about my car?" She asked.
"I'll take it home for the night." Felicity shrugged.
I smiled at Faith. "Yes?"
"Yeah." Faith answered.
We walked out to my car and turns out I parked next to Faith.
Faith got in the passenger side and I started to pull out of the school parking lot. Felicity took Faiths car home and Faith was coming over to my house. I had to give her something.
