Chapter Ten

ACE POV

I smile to myself as I walk into the pack house. Waking up with Harper was delightful she sure is grumpy in the mornings and growls a lot at people. I feel sorry for her mother and sister that have to put up with her every morning even though it's comical coming from such a small person. My Kitten has a feisty side that I never would have guessed that she had. I left her at school shes giving me the silent treatment for the hickeys she found. I can't help that I got carried away on her tasty soft skin my wolf has been clawing at me inside out to claim her and mark her. It was the only way to satisfy the need for a little while until I'm sure that she's ready. I'll make it up to her later on today when I pick her up from school i'd do anything to hear those three words from her again. I walk into my bedroom and change out of my clothes and put on a light blue t-shirt that reminds me of Harper's eyes and then pull on a pair of black jeans. To say I'm smitten over Harper would be an understatement. I leave my room and walk down the hall to the meeting room with my hands in my pockets nodding at everyone that greets me a good morning and a lower of the head in respect as I pass by them. I reach the oak double doors and walk in. Seeing my beta Jax where he greets me with a smile and my third in command Thomas and My uncle and his beta Lucas and his third in command Jeff as they all surround the polished glass table. It's able to seat up to twenty people in the lush big black desk chairs. We use it for when we have meetings like this which is normally once or twice a week.

"Ay yo Acey Boy's here!" Jax announces to the room and they all shout Ay all over the place

Thomas stands up from the table and greets me grabbing my hand tight and slapping me on my back "What up man? How's Harp?" he gives me a big I know what you did smile

"Yo Thomas not much and She's pissed at me" I smile back at him returning the slap on the back and walk over and take my seat at the end of the table my Uncle and his crew at the other end surrounding him

Jax leans over with the same smile on his face as Thomas "We saw you walk in with the same clothes you were wearing last night and a shit eating grin on your face." he wiggles his eyebrows at me

Thomas leans in "yeah man did you screw her? well actually you're not that lucky of a guy did you at least claim her?" he wiggles his eyebrows

I throw my head back and laugh "No it was none of that. It was just a really great night."

Jax looks over at Thomas "He got to second base! he saw boobies!" he hoots and we all three start laughing

"I left hickeys on her and she's pissed about it I've been given the silent treatment by her all morning" I give them a wicked smile

They smile at me "who knew Harper had an angry side?" Jax says as he leans back in his chair putting his arms behind his head

I shrug "it's the first time a girls ever gotten mad at me for it, and I'm loving it" I wiggle my eyebrows smiling

Thomas leans in "man what's she been like? I haven't seen her in a while"

I lean in to him "she's fascinating I can't wait until she gets knocked up with my pups. The idea of her walking around with a swollen belly excites me"

Thomas looks at me shocked and then gives me a goofy grin "man you've got it bad"

Jax leans in joining us wiggling his eyebrows "do my eyes and ears deceive me? or is our little Acey no longer a playboy?" He puts his hand over his heart and grabs Thomas's hand in his "oh Tom honey! Our little boy has fallen head over heels! He's growing up!" He makes a weird girlish southern voice that kind of freaks me out while fanning himself like he's getting ready to cry. We all break out into laughter.
