The next couple of weeks were okay, Bane and Belle were great foster parents thought today their daughter was going to come visit, he's never met her before only when Bane or Belle talks about her.

Gene was in his room looking at a book when the door bell rang, there was a couple of squeals so Gene got up and looked down the stairs.

There was Belle was hugging a girl, "Oh Bell! It's been a while since you visited!" Bell laughed, "Yeah well the house does keep me busy."

"Oh okay, well you've got some one to meet! Gene!" Belle shouts, Gene slowly walked down the stairs, Bell was surprisingly short, her hair was long with one strand in the middle of her face.

She smiled when she saw him, "Hey there Gene!" She took out her hand, Gene flinches but takes her hand and shakes it. "Don't be so jumpy! I'm completely harmless, Mami Where's pa?"

"He's working at the moment, he'll come home later." Belle says walking to the kitchen. Bell looked at Gene, "I bet they are spoiling you, you lucky duck. So do you have any friends?"

Gene looks down and crosses his arms, "Not really..." Bell frowns but gives a small smile, "Well I'll be your friend." Gene looks up at her.

"R-Really?..." Bell gives a heartwarming smile, "Yeah! Cmon lets go up to your room!" She grabs his hand and drag him up to his room.

She looks around with a smile, "You know, this was my room growing up. Ah gives back memories." Gene sits on his bed, "Are they good memories?..."

Bell nods and sits next to him, "Yep! When I was younger me and my cousin Jet were really close. He came and spend the nights here often, it was like his second home! I also had my first sleepover here! We played a game of truth and let's say it didn't go well."

Gene looks at her, "What happened?" Bell laughs, "I had to eat a small piece of chocolate and had to text my best friends crush."

Gene smiles slightly, "So what do you like doing for fun?" Bell asks, "W-Well...I like reading..." Bell gasps. "Woah! I like reading too!"

"Really?...I get teased for liking reading..." Bell shakes her head, "I did too but I just ignored them! What kind of book do you like reading?"

"Action..." Gene mumbles, "Oh that's my third favorite genre, the first is horror, the second is romance." Bell says. "Hey if I ask mom maybe I could take you out to get something before dad gets home." She whispers.

Gene looks at her and gives a hesitant nod. Bell giggles and gets up, "Stay there, I'll be back." She walks out the room. Gene sighs, 'What have I gotten myself into...' He thought.

A couple minutes later Bell walked back in the room with a smile, "Okay let's get in the car buddy!" Gene's eyes widen a bit but he got up and followed her to her car.

They drove for a bit, Bell chatted up a storm, Gene tried his best to keep up but he lost her.

They stopped in from of a mall, they got up and walked into the mall. "There's an awesome ice cream store here that we could go to!" Bell says looking around.

Gene stayed close to her so he wouldn't lose her, "That sounds great..." Gene mumbled. Bell stops and looks at him, "Where would you like to go?"

"Well...we both like books so maybe...the book store?..." Gene asks, Bell smiles wide. "Yeah! That sound great let's go!" She grabs his hand and leads him through the mall and into the bookstore.

They grabbed a couple of books and read through them, "U-Um.. what does this word mean?..." Gene asks hesitantly, Bell takes a look at it. "Oh it means harm! You'll learn about it in high school."

Gene looked back at the word, then there was laughter. Gene froze and looked up from his book to see the bully neko and his friends. They'll never leave him alone if they sad him here!

"I'll be back, I'm going to look at those book over there." Bell said getting up, she walked a couple steps away, Gene sighed and looked back in the book.

"What are you doing here nerd? Wanting to read some kitty book?" The neko says sneering, his buddy's laughed. "N-No..." Gene mumbles.

"What was that? Eh but it's a miracle that you came out, you hobbit." The neko laughs, "C-Can you just leave me a-alone..." Gene growls.

The neko glares and grabs his shirt and pulls him to his face, "What was that?" The neko says darkly. "Hey!" Gene looked to see Bell.

"Ooo~ got your girlfriend to help you!" One of the nekos friends calls out, Bell huffed and walked to them. "Put Gene down." The neko glares at her.

"Or what?" Bell took a step closer, "Listen here bud, I don't know who you are nor do I care. But all I care is that you are messing with my little brother right there and I will NOT tolerate that."

Genes eyes widen, no one has ever stood up for him before. The neko lets go of him, "Hmph...Your not worth it." Bell rolled her eyes, "Gosh is that all you got? Kids these days...making fun of other kids doesn't make you cool it just makes you look like a jerk. Plus I bet you haven't hit puberty yet or have matured."

The neko lets go of Gene, "Now before I get ahold of your parents I believe you should leave and leave Gene alone." Bell says putting a hand on Gene shoulder.

The neko takes a step back then leaves the store with his friends. "Are you Okay?" Bell says Gene worryingly.

"I-I'm fine...no one has ever stood up for me like that..." Gene mumbles, Bell's eye widen a bit but she smiles. "Well that has to change! Hey just know if your in trouble I got your back."
