I have no freaking words for the picture above 😭💘
Calum's P.O.V:
"Where even are we?"
"Are we there yet?
"I'm boredddddddd"
We were all currently trying to find our way out of this dámned forest on foot. It's easy to see that none of us got proper sleep in the car last night and we've been walking for about an hour now. To make things worse, once we find our way back to civilization or anywhere with cell service, we will have to find the car and retrieve it before going any farther.
"This is a disaster" I chuckled out and they all stared at me in disbelief.
"You think this is funny?!?" Luke said in exasperation.
"You guys are so negative! Think about it this way. We went on a road trip in highschool, having no clue where we were going and ended up in a forest, having to sleep in a car and walking around for hours with no adults. This will be a great memory to have later in life and also, I can feel it that something good will come out of this" I said and they thought about it before smiling slightly.
"You always see the positive in things don't you Calum?" Ash said and I grinned goofily before continuing to walk.
Suddenly Kat pinched my arm and I groaned in pain but looked at her. She had an apologetic smile on her face and was pointing to her phone screen, where it showed that she had service.
"Ohh thank you so much you're a lifesaver!" I said, smiling and forgetting the fact that she pinched me as I took her phone, typing in a number and holding it up to my ear.
"You just couldn't stay away for too long could you?" I heard a perky voice come from the other line.
"Haha very funny Melissa" I said, unamused and she laughed.
"What's up peacock?" She asked and I was about to ask where she got that nickname from but figured I should cut to the chase.
"Uhmm so long story short we got lost in a forest and need your help because we're out of gas and lost" I said and the other line went silent for a few seconds, making me think the line went dead.
"HE WHAT!?!" I heard Dylan's voice boom through the speaker from the background and I winced.
"In my defense I wasn't the one driving" I quickly rushed out and I saw Mikey's eyes widen dramatically in fear.
"Ugh I swear I've gotten you out of every mistake you've made for years brother. I'm on my way, what was the last street name you guys saw?" He asked gruffly through the phone.
"Uhm I think it was Willow Blvd. Thank you so much for this" I said and heard him grunt.
"I'll hopefully see you soon. It'll just be me in the car since there will only be enough space for one other person when I get there. Call if anything changes" he said and I nodded then realized he couldn't see me.
"Sounds good. Thanks again" I repeated myself from earlier.
"Anything for you bro" he said and then hung up. I gave Kat her phone back and told them the plan.
"YESSSS" Luke screamed dramatically and we all laughed at him, starting small talk to pass the time by.

We heard a honk right before a silver truck came into view. We all cheered and hopped in, me in the passenger seat so I could give him directions back to the car.
