The darkness

The girl

There is a girl named Aubrey she is 6 years old, and she has always been afraid of the dark. And she has never been brave enough to face her fear and go in the dark. Her mom and dad always tell her there's nothing to be afraid of, she don't believe that. There is a dark corner in her room and when she's trying to sleep, she here's noises she gets so scared that, she don't even move or get up to sleep with her parents. If she's not going to sleep, she never goes in her room. And onetime she was going to sleep and she heard banging on her wall. Her parents came in there to see what was going on. She said there is something in that dark corner they turned on the light, and there was nothing there. She was going to school one day and at recess, she found this secret spot. And then she saw a big slimy ugly monster! She screamed, the teacher ran over there and said "what's wrong" she pointed at it, but she said "there's nothing there" but Aubrey was confused, she was walking home and saw it again, she ran and ran and ran. She was so scared there was no escape. She asked her parents if she could sleep with them they said no cause it was close to Christmas, they were wrapping presents. They said she could sleep with her sister "Sarah" though. I slept with her but, that monster was still there. It was no use, there is no escape.
