Angel's POV
      I was coming down my stairs from my attic room. I had heard Charmander yell something. "Charmander! Are you okay?! What's wrong?!" I yelled out to him worried. I don't see him inside the house so I look outside. I see Charmander fighting a human Squirtle. Charmander gets hit and his flame starts to flicker. "Charmander!" I yell out and run to him. I love Charmander more than just the trainer-pokemon relationship. Charmander sees me run to him and says "No I can beat him! He's not getting away with calling you ugly". I stop shocked that the reason Charmander was fighting was to protect my pride. Charmander gets hit again. "Charmander! I'm not just going to sit aside and let you get hurt" I say running in front of him. I look the Squirtle dead in the eyes and said "I don't care what you say about me your not hurting Charmander". The Squirtle gets the message and leaves. Charmander gets up from where he had fallen and he picks me up bridal style. "C-Charmander w-what are y-you d-doing" I squeaked out at the sudden action. Charmander looked me in the eye and said "Angel.... Do you know why I wanted to protect you, your pride?". I was shocked. I had an idea but I didn't know what to say. Charmander started to lean closer to me. His face was hovering above mine. I gulped and looked him in the eyes blushing. His lips were almost touching mine. Charmander then said "Because I love you". I was shocked as he lean his face closer and softy kisses me. I'm still shocked but I kiss back. Charmander pulls back looks at me happily. Charmander carries me inside the house and up the stairs. "Charmander what are you doing" I squeaked out. Charmander just chuckles and says "Now that I know you feel the same your in for the time of your life Angel". I gulp and my face is redder than a tomato.
