We sat in his car, ready to leave. One hand was on the wheel and the other hand was holding mine.
I plugged the aux cord in and played my favorite song by Maddie and Tay "Fly".
He looked at me and raised an eyebrow. "You listen to country music?" I nodded. He smiled. "Me too. My song right now is by Keith Urban "Blue ain't your color"." He's so perfect!!!
"Well, I love country music and also rock music. Those are my two favorite. I listen to all music but like sometimes the hip hop and rap get to me." He nodded in agreement.
The rest of the ride was filled with random conversations about what we like with music playing in the background.
When we got to the restaurant I looked out the window and stared in awe.
"W-we aren't going there, right?" I said still staring out the window.
"Mmm..not exactly." I looked at him confused. "Come on I'll show you."
We walked inside of the restaurant and then he led me out a back door. I was confused for a second then suddenly I was lifted up bridal style in his arms and he walked towards a beautiful waterfall behind the restaurant. I gasped in awe.
"You like it?" He smiled
"Yes!! It's beautiful baby!" I immediately put my hand over my mouth and my eyes widened.
He smirked. "I knew it would come out sooner or later."
We spent the rest of the night under the dark sky having a dinner by the waterfall and talking endlessly about everything.
I got home at midnight that night and I couldn't stop smiling. I fell asleep peacefully for the first time in a while.
It was absolutely the best night of my life.
