There once was a time when the human race wasn't the superior. There were three distinct races, each treated with utmost reverence yet with frequent quarrels.
The first was the race of elves. They were lean and tall people who always had an arrow ready at hand. They were also the most resourceful with ideas and solutions. They only celebrated in the light of the moon and the sunlight was considered a threat. They took it as a paramount capability to wander freely in the daylight.
The second was the race of Kaia. They were also called the Mystica's or the Mystics. They thrived under the shade of trees. They were the nature spirits who dwelled only in the forests. The wood of the Magnolia tree was their sacred tree. Your social status depended on the amount of Magnolia you had in your house, varying from a small piece to a fully grown tree.
The third was the race of wizards who always had a sense of settlement and didn't like to shift their houses. Therefore their habitat was none other than the ancient city of Werbeka, which they fought for in the Battle Of Werbeka. They used magic for almost everything much to the annoyance of the Mystics and Elves.
The most common question that may arise is- "Where are they now?"
Well this is an Elvish Poem written by Sir Eleanor Elvin the last ever Elvish person alive. It took me much time and difficulty to translate it but as you might see, it is extremely answerable to the above question.
The race of Kaia fell to the Ground
And upon the Earth became mound and mound
And into greenery their spirits were lured
And they became the timid nature
The race of elves layed sound asleep
The sky decided the elves he would keep
Our heirs, our kin and our company far
Became embedded into the lustrous stars
The race of men travelled far and wide
Till they gave up their magic to the greater side
And they believed this Earth they had already won
They called themselves ''human'
A poetic analysis is not required, or so I hope. The Mystics became nature: the trees the plants the bushes and the brooks. The elves became the constellations and the wizards became humans.
And this is why this era is called the "older earth" .
But as always every good tale needs an evil. And even if I am to describe Older Earth, I must admit I've left out the most deadly and evil race: the Dark Race
There were a dozen of bloodthirsty and dim witted beasts who were bred in the areas to the north of the Sacred River. The river divided the area into two parts: The Dark Kingdom and The Dividing Of Three Powers Province. The Dark Kingdom lied in the North and was ruled by A Dark Ruler.
These beasts were mainly six: goblins, dark elves, mud naiters, leprechauns, dark mystics and dark wizards.
The era this tale starts in is called the Second Age Of Peace. But let it be suffice to say a timeline must be taken into consideration.
And so it will right in the next chapter
Ok so this is a first chapter. This is just a real lame intro. So guys I'll see if I can publish the next chapter soon. Disclaimer it's pretty boring, but you should know what it says, cause it's see like an appendix. Guys some of you may think this is like LOTR but don't make that mistake, I've tried to make as different as LOTR and Hobbit as I could. But they SURE were inspiration...
