Harry's POV

"C'mon Harry, he won't bite"

We're currently stood outside her house, literally right outside the front door, and i'm too scared to go in; it's just that Lola seems to be the only thing that her granddad has and I don't exactly give off the best first impression. What if he acts out like Frank did and refuses to let us see each other, I couldn't be dealing with that.

"What if he doesn't want us seeing each other" I ask, trying to pull her away from the door that seems to be getting closer and closer by the second, not to mention how intimidating it looks.

"My granddad's not like that, I promise! He's the one that invited you over. You have nothing to worry about Haz, trust me" She says and I immediately relax when I feel her soft, small hands either side of my face. She rubs her nose gently against mine and presses a quick kiss to my parted lips before taking my hand and opening the front door.

"Gramps?" She calls out, dropping her bag gently to the floor, I mimick her actions and follow her to the voice that answers.

"In here" He calls back.

I follow her petite figure into the small living room where an old frail man is sat, staring at a blank tv screen.

"hey you, look who I brought home" she speaks quietly, kneeling down to his level.

"You brought a friend home?" his face breaks into a smile and Lola looks at him sadly.

"No gramps, remember you invited Harry" her voice and eyes instantly sadden and it honestly breaks my heart to see that the person she loves most is fading away slowly. His eyes light up as she says this and his head snaps towards mine before he gets up with great difficulty.

"Woah, slow down, I'll help you" I say, scurrying over to him and helping him get up before shaking his hand.  "My names Harry, sir"

"Oh please, just call me William" He says, shaking my hand enthusiastically. He gives me a warm smile, causing my nerves to calm slightly - but not completely. I nod and once he removes his hand from mine, I place it in my back pocket.

"Thank you for inviting me William" I say, slightly cringing at the fact I'm calling Lola's granddad by his first name.

"It's more than fine, i've heard a lot about you" William winks Lola's way and I watch in awe as her face turns a bright shade of red. She looks at the ground, refusing for her eyes to meet mine, when doing so, her dark hair falls infront of her face. I can't even begin to explain how badly I want to tuck her hair behind her ears and kiss her cheeks until the cute blush that she has disappears as it's clearly making her uncomfortable; but I don't, because her grandfather is here. Instead, I try to surpress my chuckle at what he says but fail in doing so. "I'm sorry, I haven't made anything for dinner; so I was thinking we could just go out" He shrugs.

"Gramps, are you sure we can afford that?" Lola whispers quiet enough for only William to hear, but she fails miserably as I hear also. He shoos his hand in her face and tells her to be quiet.

"I can pay, it's no biggy" I shrug towards them both.

"Harry! God no, it's fine, we can sort it" She says, walking towards me and placing her hands on my shoulders before reaching up on her tiptoes to kiss my lips lightly. It confuses me slightly, how straight forward she is in front of her granddad; William doesn't look awkward at all.

"I appreciate your offer, Harry. But that won't be neccessary. Now you two go upstairs and get ready" He practically pushes us up the stairs to her bedroom.

I walk after her into the familiar room.

"Can I choose what you wear, baby?" I ask, walking up behind her, placing my hands on her hip bones and kissing her bare shoulder, peppering kisses up her neck, jaw and then her cheek.

"Of course, there isn't much of a choice though" She says, turning in my arms and kissing me hard on the lips. She pulls away and I shrug before turning to her wardrobe and opening the doors. I can see in the corner of my eye, Lola pulling her hair back into a chic ponytail.

"Here" I pass her a clothes hanger that's holding a short baby blue skater dress with a cream belt around the waist. "I'll pick your shoes aswell" I wink towards her as she takes the dress from my hands and nods, walking into the bathroom. Turning back towards her wardrobe, I crouch down to the bottom of her cupboard and use my hands to rumage around for some sort of shoe she can wear on her feet. Lola walks back into the room. It takes everything I have for me to look away, she looks absolutely beautiful. The dress stops half way up her tanned thighs and compliments her tiny waist amazingly. I return back to looking for some shoes.

Soon enough, I come across a small red box. Lola's too busy zipping the back of her dress up that she doesn't see me open it.

"Harry what are you doing?" She asks, voice slightly panicked.

It's too late though, i've seen what's inside it and I can't even fathom what my emotions are. Anger, hurt, upset, confusion. Yes confusion, that's the main thing.

"What the fuck is this, Lola" I say, standing up and showing her the red box without the lid. Her eyes widen and I can practically hear her swallow, but then again I can also hear her loud breathing; although it doesn't fit the movement of her chest so I'm guessing it's mine.

"Can you just give it here please" She says, placing the palm of her hand upwards but I shake my head - which still seems to be utterly confused and muddled.

"Answer me this first, why the fuck do you have blades?"
