Alannah Adley- Stubborn, Otaku, Loves Dark Places and Exploring.

Adam Adley- Protective Father, Bingo Lover, Hates Boss

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Her thumb trailed over the foggy car window as trees and happy citizens rolled by. Her life was a haze, A box thrown out the window. And she was in that box, the brown..Broken box. Recently receiving news that she was moving to a quaint.. Quiet town Called Morning Oak.  Her breath trailed off onto the glass as her eyes trailed over to her father.
"Are we there yet Dad?" Alannah Inquired. Her father, Adam, let off a chuckle and shook his head.
"Sadly not. Almost though, hang in there kiddo." He spoke, rubbing his daughters head. Alannah let off a slight sigh and returned to looking out the window. Her fathers hand retracted from her head as he kept his eyes on the road.
"Why don't you text your friends? Tell them about where we are?" Her dad suggested. Alannah shrugged and pulled out her Black And White phone.
"I guess I could." She muttered, unlocking her phone and pulling up her group chat.
"That's the spirit kiddo." Her dad said cheerfully, patting her leg.
Alannah sighed and rolled her eyes, then began to type in a message to the chat. Once she sent the message, she turned her phone on vibrate and set it down in her lap. Turning her head to her father once more, she let off a sound that imitated a hungry stomach.
"Daaaaaaaaaaad i'm hungryyyyyyyyyy.." Alannah whined. Adam chuckled and kept his gaze on the road.
"GPS says there is a diner up ahead, why don't we stop there and grab some grub?" Alannah nodded her head quickly and let off a bright smile. Her butt danced in her seat at the thought of food, but with the dancing- her phone fell off of her lap and onto the car floor. Reaching down for it, her fingers brushed over what seemed to feel like a key..A Rod? Whatever it was, she left it alone as the car turned. Shooting up from her seat, she looked out the window at the brightly lit diner. Forgetting about her phone, she scrambled to unlock her door, and jumped out onto the pavement.
"C'mon dad! Dad! Dad do you think they have pancakes?! I hope they do! Dad c'mon! I'm hungry!" Alannah spoke quickly. Her dad chuckled as he made his way out the car and shut his door.
"You gotta wait for your old man, Lanni. I'm not as quick as I use to be you know!" He said, letting off a laugh and walking over to his daughter. He locked the car with his keys as Alannah began to drag him towards the diner, chanting for food.
"I know dad but i'm hungryyyyyyyyyyyy!" She groaned, pulling him harder. Her father chuckles once more and sighs, letting her drag him to the entrance.
"Fine fine..But you're paying half." He agreed.
"Alright!" Alannah yelled, and released her father, running inside the diner.
