Amaria glares at her mother, her wings flapping. "where's father?" she demanded once more, and her mother sighs. She puts a hand on her daughters shoulder.
"Amaria, your father left us. We've been over this many times." She spoke, and Amaria stares coldly at her.
"You're not telling me because he's the devil, right? That he's evil. You're afraid I'm going to become him." She spat, and her mother's head shoots up.
"Amaria Marian Morningstar," she scolded, and Amaria laughs humorlessly. "Stop trying to make your little dream come true. You know angels can't go to Earth unless they've fallen-."
Her mother clamps her hands on her mouth, cutting her own sentence short. Amaria smirks. "Earth, huh? That's a start." She moved her raven hair out of her face, looking over to the castle.
"Amaria. you are not bothering your uncle." her mother snapped, grabbing Amaria's wing and yanking her down to the ground. Amaria screams in pain.
"I'm sorry. I can't let you be like Lucifer." she spat his name, turning away from her daughter and exiting her room, slamming the door shut.
Amaria gasps, clutching her wing as it throbbed. "Son of a bitch." She cursed, standing up and pushing her wing as if to lessen the pain.
She looks out of her window once more, eyeing the palace. she decides to take a risk of going to the castle and speaking to her uncle, Amanediel.
