Anxiety, loneliness, and emptiness. Those words described me perfectly. I didn't know what was wrong in my life. As long as I remember, I was always being like that.

Today was one of the rainy days in November. I was sipping my hot café latte in my regular coffee shop near the university. Bittersweet tastes hit my tongue and warmed up my body, but those coldness and emptiness feeling just wouldn't go away. Some people thought it might be just sentimental feelings from pitter-patter sounds of the rain, but I knew it better.

Ding-ding, the bell sounds echoed throughout the shop. I glanced at my watch, it's 4.10 p.m., it should be him, and then I turn around to peek his figure.

I couldn't help but smile to see it was really him. He wore a grey hoodie, black jeans and converse shoes. Today, he came alone not with his usual friends or his little sister. He might be waiting to pick up his sister. Now, he would order cappuccino and cookies, churros or muffin.

How did i know? It was simple. He always sat on the place behind my seat.

It had been almost four weeks since the first day I met him. His warm radiating aura could be felt from my back. He's not handsome but all I know I admired him.

He might be the answer to my despair.

First meeting,

I was walking to the bus station after I finished my class. I trotted on a sidewalk until rainstorm suddenly hit the earth.

My laptop! I was panicking over my laptop as i was afraid it would get drenched.  The laptop was my last gift from father before he passed away last year. I held it dear because every time I used it, I felt like he was still alive.

I ran toward the coffee shop that was opened two months ago. The shop's opening day was the same as my father's death anniversary. I remembered that my father used to make me a cup of milk coffee back then when he was still alive. I was looking for redemption of my sadness that day and visited there. I was surprised to be welcomed by homey and warm interior. Unknowingly, I became a regular at there.

"Welcome, miss. Latte or macchiato? Hot or..." Said the barista behind the coffee maker then staring at me, scrutinizing my drenched hair and clothes. "Hot of course, miss. Your hair already drenched with raindrops." then he waved his hands to me, indirectly told me to have a seat.

I chuckled then sat on my favorite seat on the corner of the shop. I took out my laptop to the table in front of me and smiling as it is still dry and fine. The barista served me my order and I thanked him. I was about to plugged in my earphone and started doing my homework until I heard the bell of front door of shop sounds, following by ruckus of a man and a girl.

"Whoa. This is better than what I thought." Said the man.

"Right? Right? I heard it from my schoolmates about this place. So don't be mad at me anymore." Said the girl that came along with him.

"I still dislike waiting for those 'girl gossip' reason. I'm not your driver, lil sis." The man sighed and I heard the walking sound came toward my direction.

Please don't let me sit near that noisy siblings. I chanted so hard in my heart. However, he came closer and sat right behind me. The waiter asked for their order.

"Hmm... one hot green tea latte and hot peach tea. Also, one churros please." He said to the waiter.

"it's not manly for man drink sweet things" His sister teased him. I frowned, No. It is not.
