"Onii-chan, I'm bored," Amaimon whined. He lay on his stomach on his elder brother's couch, fumbling with a lollipop between his lips. His complaint made him sound like a small child.
Mephisto, sitting at his desk, smirked. "Can you really find nothing to do, Amaimon? You're always making mischief." Amaimon perked up, then sank back down in disinterest.
The demon flipped onto his back, staring at the blank ceiling. Fidgeting, he found himself unable to stay motionless. Still chewing on his sucker, his expression was completely blank. "Nii-chan, I wonder what it's like to go to school," he mused. "After all, we're in one right now." Mephisto grinned, his brother unaware of the devilish smile that was devouring his face. He rested his chin on his hand.
"You know, you could find out." Amaimon slowly turned his head in Mephisto's direction. Before he could register what happened, his older brother had appeared before him with a boy's uniform in hand.
"What's that?" He deadpanned, glancing at the white and black uniform. Ignoring him, Mephisto continued.
"Imagine, my little brother as a cute little school boy! I never thought I would see the day," he swooned, thrusting the outfit in Amaimon's face. He jerked back a bit.
"I was joking, but now it sounds kind of fun," he said monotonously as he sat up.
"Nobody should recognize you, so you'll be safe. But if worst comes to worst, I'll come to your rescue!" Mephisto assured him. "Let's make a bet: If you last a week, I'll let you run the school for one day. If I win, you're my slave for a day." Amaimon nodded, a smirk tugging the corners of his mouth upward. He yanked the uniform from his brother’s hand, ambitiously glaring at him.
He headed toward the nearest bathroom to change. He slid off his green armwarmers, untied his yellow tie, tugged of his vest and shirt, as well his beloved maroon jacket. He felt so naked without it. Then he undid his belt and tossed his shorts into a corner, along with his pointy-toed boots. He held up the crisp, white shirt, then put in on. It was almost refreshing to have a new tie with black, white, and red stripes. It was also strange to Amaimon to wear full-length pants and normal shoes. He shrugged his black jacket on and tucked his flicking tail in. When he enter Mephisto’s office again, the purple haired demon was dazzled.
Amaimon frowned, starting to doubt his decision as his brother began swooning about his appearance and rambling on about “All the ladies…” or something like that.
“Amaimon, are you really going to wear that jacket in the summer?” Mephisto asked, incredulous. The other demon nodded, and headed out the door without another word. He was pretty sure that he knew where the class was.
A while later, Amaimon realized that he was in the wrong corridor. He looked lazily around him, unsure of what to do. He decided on walking straight, but the empty hall came to a dead end. “Ugh,” he sighed, irritated that he wasn’t having any fun with this. He turned a corner, only to walk straight into someone he didn’t know.
