your pov

every morning was the same. i woke up to the sound of my alarm beeping, over and over again. i eventually succumbed to the beeping and threw myself up. i groggily rubbed my eyes and put on my uniform, but today is different. today is the exams for U.A, this was the day i've been waiting for since i was a little kid.  i promised myself that i would be a hero, to prove that i am something. that my quirk is not dangerous, that i can use it for good.

i threw an extra pair of clothes into my book-bag, just in case. i tried to brush out my (h/l), (h/c), but the brush just wouldn't do, so i eventually just threw it up. i slung my book-bag over my shoulder.

'today is the day. the day you've been training for since you were 10. the day where you prove that you're worthy.' i told myself, trying to calm the butterflies in my stomach down.

i deeply exhaled and walked out of my room. i walked down the stairs to the usual bickering of the other children who lived with me. i usually get stares as i make an entrance, but today i grabbed my toast and left. i crunched down on my toast and kicked the rocks on the sidewalk. i felt a push on my back and turned around.

(cursing ahead, thanks to the angry flame boy)

"get the fuck out of my way." a blonde with crimson eyes stated, keeping his eyes ahead of him.

"go around, douchebag." i grumbled, stopping in my tracks.

"the fuck you say to me?" the blondie asked, turning around to face me.

"you heard me, dumbass." i said, clenching my fists.

"watch your back." he yelled, continuing on his walk.

'what a douche' i thought to myself, i continued my walk, eating my toast along the way.

i eventually made it to my high school. i breathed in deeply as i walked into the auditorium where they were holding the exams. i walked over and sat next to izuku, who stayed friends with me throughout everything, even if we aren't that close.

"are you n-nervous?" izuku asked me, shaking in his boots.

"well obviously!" i giggled, holding his hands down on the chair to keep him from shaking them back and forth.

we sat through the introduction of the exam rules. i was shaking in my seat as i got my card that told me the battle center i would be in. i was sent to center d, and unfortunately, it wasn't with izuku.

i grabbed my bag and quickly changed into my outfit, running back to my battle center. i looked up at the big walls and gulped. i knew this would be a challenge, but i had no doubt that i would do great.

"real heroes don't have a signal to go!" present mic yelled, and the gates opened. everyone ran straight, as i ran to the outside left.

"3 points, huh?" i smirked, and used my water element to put him into the ground, and then used my wind element. i repeated the process for what seemed like for what seemed like forever.

"alright, students! times up!" present mic yelled from the top of the buildings above.

i wiped the sweat off of my forehead.

i continued out of the battle center, searching for izuku, but he is no where do be seen. i kept walking, when someone ran into me.

"watch where you're fucking going!" i yelled when i turned around and saw the blondie from earlier.

"WHO DO YOU THINK YOU'RE TALKING TO!" the blondie yelled, grabbing me by my shirt. and that's when it hit me. the crimson eyes, the same blonde hair, the fiery attitude. it's him.

i kick my feet and try to pry my hands off of him. i don't want his dirty fucking hands on me.

"let me fucking go!" i yell. my hands begin to heat and the sky begins to darken.

"NOT UNTIL YOU FUCKING ANSWER ME!" he yelled, tightening his grip on my shirt. i yelled once more, and lightening came down right where we were standing. bakugou refused to let go of me, at least until i said something that i thought i would never say.
