She Knows (URBAN)

Little 7 yr old innocent Courtnee was in her room playing with her dolls, her father just took her to the toy store the get some new ones, only because she begged him too. He couldn't say no to his baby girl, besides it wasnt like it was gonna hurt his pockets or should i say Stacks. Courtnee loved her parents. She didint know what they did for a living, but whatever they did it kept a roof over there head and clothes on thier backs, and food on the table. She wondered why her father would have two phones, or go away for a couple months, or have houses on each corner. She was young but not dumb, and she knew it wasn't something pleasant.

While she was playing with her dolls, she heard things being broken and yelling. She dropped her toys down, and went to see what was going on. As she was getting ready to walk down the steps, she stop once she heard a sinister voice. She peaked in the living room and tears instantly rush to her eyes. There layed her parents on the floor, with bruises and blood everywhere, and guns were being pointed at them at every angle.

Her mother's eyes met hers. she blew her a kiss and smiled then she signaled her to go back upstairs. Before she did, she looked at her daddy. He looked at Courtnee and he felt ashamed of hisself. He let his wife down, hisself down, and most importantly his baby girl. He looked down and remembered he have a bank account for his little girl, she'll be set for life.

He wishes the best for her and he will always be watching over her, his loyal workers will remain watching her for life. He got everything planned out for her, he was prepared for situation.

" any last words King or should i say bitch " one of his workers said as they pointed the gun at them, they betrayed him.

King looked at his babygirl and said " i love you baby girl '

" i love you too daddy " with her response she ran back up to her room and hid in her closet behind the clothes.

She covered her ears but she still heard faint gun shots. Then and there she knew they were gone. Her beloved parents, her providers, caregivers, guardians.She silently cried. Courtnee hid in the closet for about a day. Her grandma thought she was missing, but the police found her and she was tooken under her grandmother's care.
