"No, thats utter bullshit! Stop it." I pointed angrily at Erik. "She couldn't had done that! She would never kill anyone only if she had to."
Tears formed in my eyes as I distressfully glowered in disbelief. Erik placed his hand on me to calm me down but I pushed it away. "Don't do this to me. It may sound convincing but the absurdity and impossibility of Raven being a crazy mentally disturbed homicidal maniac does not! In fact, you sound like the crazy one yourself."
Erik shook his head. "I knew you would take this personally. There was no choice Charles! We had to take her in."
I scowled at him. "Really? But I don't remember her being that way back then!"
Erik fisted his hair; veins popping out of his head. "That was a long time ago! That's when she wouldn't had been affected yet by her illness." He reasoned. I retorted back. "What a big pile of poppycock! That's the hundredth lie you've said Lehnsherr!"
"So Im the bad guy now? Charles she fucking tried to poison you and drown you in the tub and you still call me a liar!"
"Because that's what you are! She couldn't... she couldn't have done that Erik..."
"Well she did! Thats just the tip of the iceberg Xavier. Remember dearest Alex Summers? He didn't drown by accident because he was drowned by Raven when she thought he was taking your attention to her away!"
I fell dumbfounded when he said it. No, this was the biggest bullshit ever! This can't be real!
Erik sank to the floor. "Im sorry if I brought that up. It had to be if you wanted to know the entire truth about Raven, Alex's death, and your parents."
I sat there speechless as he continued on. "Your parents never wanted any of the attention drawn from the public and since they were one of the wealthiest people in this town, they decided to disclose the case and keep it confidential."
He glanced at the window as he bit his lip. "Alex... Alex was my bestfriend Charles. We always had fun together all the time. He always talked about you being the light of his miserable life because his parents had kicked him out for being gay."
Face red and voice quivering, tears started trickled down his cheek too. "I- I loved him as a brother... a brother I never had." He sniffed. "When I learned that that he was killed by her, I was in pieces all over the floor! Your sister is a murderer Charles and you should know that."
I was quiet and in deep thought about what he said. After everything that has happened, I still couldnt register the entirety of a story in my clueless mind. I was lost at this point with nothing but my own heart deciding what to do.
Erik was almost at the brink of breaking as he quivered at the agonising thought of what happened. "Erik... I'm sorry."
"Sorry doesn't change anything if you still won't believe me. I still have to tell you more about your sister being brought in to the institution I work at." He solemnly said. My eyes traveled to his hands that fidgeted the edge of his shirt.
"I hope when I say that your parent's had denied Raven into the mental institution to cure her and that her condition worsened, you would believe me truly."I extended my hand and laid it on his shaking hands. "Erik... I understand."
He glanced at me with a broken smile. "If only you could see how much ive been through after being forced undercover by my boss to make Raven fall in love with me and keep track of her condition until we were wed, then Im sure you would say more than just understanding to someone who has suffered for the sake of justice." A cough escaped his lips as his face fell.
"After all Ive been through, you are the only good thing to have ever come out of this master plan..." He smiled wider.
"Erik..." I whispered to his ear. "I...believe you."
