Was I The Only One (Niley Story) Chapter 5 (No, This Can't Be Happening..)

~Friday. At School~

(Miley at her locker, getting her books out). (Selena jumps up). "Hey girl!" Selena screams. (She smiles, trying to be friendly). "Are you going to the lock-in tonight? Me and Nick are!" Selena asked. (She smiles big). "Um, yeah. But I'm not sure if I'll be on your team. It's based on where you live. Certain neighbourhoods go in certain teams." Miley explains to her. (She gets mad look in her eye). "Wait. You and Nick live in the same neighbourhood. So does that mean you two will be on the same team?" Selena asked, (not happy at all now). "Well last year we were." Miley tells her. "Yes, but you see last year at this time you two were dating. Things have changed." She said. (She looks Miley up and down). "Obviously." She said. (She sighs). "Oh well, I'll talk to the youth leader about changing the teams up a bit." Selena smiled. "So let me get this straight. (She points to Selena). You're going to go try and change the rules to our church game just so you can be with your boyfriend? This lock-in isn't about making out with your boyfriend! It's about getting closer to the people at church." Miley explains to her, (rolling her eyes. She's mad how Selena been right now). "Oh well." (She smirked as she walked away). "Ugh." (She yelled as she slammed her locker door shut). "I dislike her so mu---." Miley murmured, (but she's ran into someone).

"Much." (He smiled as he stood next to her). (She blushed a little bit, she didn't know Nick was around). "Um.. Yeah." Miley nods. "No one seems to be liking this chick. (He smiles). Expect me." He responses. "Apparently. Look, we shouldn't be talking. Not at school. I wouldn't want Selena finding out that we're friends." Miley tells him. (He looks at Miley). "Can I at least have a hug?" Nick asked. (She nodded). (He wrapped his arms around her, hugging her tightly). (She hugged him ack. Somehow this all felt right. Her in his arms was how it was supposed to be. She knew it. But nope, she had to go along with being his friend. That's the way it had to be). (He rubbed her back while hugging her). " I'm so glad we're friends again." Nick smiled. "Your girlfriend is gonna ruin the lock in. (She sighed). I really wanna sock her in the face." Miley tells him, (really mad). (He chuckled). "No need to get feisty." Nick tells her. "Yes there is! She's going to change all the rules just so she can be on your team. She's so controlling." Miley said, (sighing, very hard cause, she's so mad). (He threw his hands up in the air). "That's why I love her." Nick smiles. (He let go of the hug. Thinking: You keep thinking that, Nick). "Yeah." (She looked down and mumbled. "Love..."). (He heard her, trying not to feel awkward). "Yep, well I'll see you tonight." Nick said. "I don't know if I'm going anymore." Miley tells him. "What? Why?" Nick asked, (confused, since she just said to him she was going). "I don't want to go if Selena is going to ruin it. I like the teams the way they are!" Miley yells. (He smirked). "You want me to yourself?" Nick asked. "No. (She lied). Selena can have you!" She said. (She turns around and walks away).

~That Night. On the way to the lock-in~

(Demi in the car singing). 'When the roof caved in and the truth came out, I just didn't know what to do, but when I become a star, we'll be livin so large.' "Geez, Demi stop trying to serenade me!" Cody yells. (She sings louder). "I'll do anything for you, whatcha say, that you only meant well? Well of course you did!' (Miley sat in the back seat and laughed at her two best friends). "So.. (She turned to look at Miley). Is Nick going to be here.?" Demi asked. "Ha, you better hope he isn't going to be here. I'll kick his a--." Cody said, but get cut off. (Demi slapped Cody's arm). "Watch your mouth!" Demi yells. "He's gonna be here, with Selena of course." Miley tells them. (She smiled at Miley). "We'll go spider monkey on her. Ok?" Demi asks, nodding. (She didn't like Selena, not one bit, she knew that she had torn her best friends life apart, and that wasn't ok with her). "Ok, Demi." Miley nods.

~When They Get There~

(Selena making out with Nick in the corner of the church). (Miley walks in with Demi and Cody glued to her side). (Taylor he's the youth group leader, also the head priests son, he walked over to 'Nelena'). "Hey guys. Um. My dad said no PDA tonight. This isn't a couples lock-in." Taylor tells them, (feeling absolutely uncomfortable). (Nick pulls away from Selsna, turning to see Taylor). "Hey, dude. (He firmly shook his hand). Ok, I understand." Nick nods. (He nodded, returning the handshakes). "Thanks, bro." Taylor smiled. (Selena raised her hand). "I don't understand. Why the flip can't me and my boyfriend show the world how much we love each other?" Selena asked, (wow she's so stupid. I know Nick agrees). (Nick looked at Taylor, who is one of his good friends, embarrassed). "Ignore her." Nick tells him. "No, don't ignore me. (She pushed Nick behind her). If I want to make out with my boyfriend, I will. You can't stop me!" Selena yells at Taylor. (She turned around and started to make out with Nick again). (He stepped back, pushing Selena backwards, slightly, his voice was angry). "Did you not just hear him?! No PDA! That means no PDA, Selena!" Nick yells at her. " why don't we go to your house? We can have more fun there anyways." (She hissed, turning to look at Taylor). "Sorry guys. It's my dad's command." Taylor explains again. "Dude, don't worry about it. I understand." Nick nods. "Ok thanks." He smiled, (then he walked away).

The Church lobby got silent for a minute, nothing was happening, no conversations were going on, they were all waiting for Taylor to tell what teams they were going to be on.

(Taylor finally got up on a chair yelling). "Ok, we're gonna determine teams by neighbor-hoods. Just like last year. Clear creek go over there. (He pointed) and Springview go over there. (He pointed in a different direction). The game will start shortly." He explains. (Miley danced away from her friends, who live in Springview. And skipped over to the Clearcreek side of the lobby). (Nick snuck up behind Miley, poking her sides). "Excited?" Nick asked, (smiling, since Miley still came). (She nodded). "You know it!" She said, (smiling at him). "I think you were right about Selena. She only came to kiss me the whole time." Nick said. " I told you so." She told him. (She smiled as she waved to Cody who was standing on the other side of the lobby ). "He really hates you. (She turned to look at Nick). You know that?" Miley asked. (He nodded). "He's a good friend to you, huh? You think you two will ever end up dating?" Nick asked, (hoping she will say no). (She burst out laughing). "Me and Cody? Heck no!" Miley laughs. "You think he's cute?" Nick asked. "Well yeah! He's a swimmer! He's got the swimmers body!" Miley tells him. (He chuckled). "You would be checking out his body." He laughs. (He's stepping closer to her, getting close to her ear and then whispering). "Have you checked out my body?" Nick asked.

Wow. Selena is so stupid for one thing.

Nick is definitely falling for Miley again. Everyone can see it expect Miley.
