Ethan's P.O.V
I was walking down the hall with my board in my hand. I went to my locker to get books out. I get everything that I needed for my class. Then I look down the hall and I see her.
I close my locker quickly as I try to catch up. I tap her shoulder and she turns around.
"Ethan." She says with a unsure tone.
"How are you?" I ask.
She nods with an awkward smile. "Good actually, we haven't talked since-"
"That night." I say. "Yeah, I know, I just-"
"It's okay, I get it." The girl says as she grips onto her books. "We should have listened to them."
"I thought we could have fought it." I close my eyes as I realise how stupid I am for talking to her.
"You can't fight it. I have to go, but, I'll see you around."
I nod and she took off down the hall, leaving me standing there in my own. I see her turn the corner and I sigh.
"Tough morning?" I hear a voice behind me.
I turn around to be faced with Carson.
"Nope, just trying to figure out when my essay is due."
Carson nods. "Right. And who was she? She's really pretty." She exclaims.
"Some girl, I don't know."
"You're being strange again." She laughs.
"We should hang out tonight." I stare changing the subject.
"Let me guess, you know another cool place around here?" Carson says raising an eyebrow.
I shrug my shoulders. "I know a lot of cool places, Carson Woodridge. But, only for tonight we'll go back to the building."
"I'm down for that." She smiles. "Ill see you after school.
