"Reagan it's time to get up for school it's already 7:30 u don't have much time left!"
"Ugh." Why does life have to be so cruel? Can't a girl sleep in for a few extra minutes?
"Don't make me get the bucket Reagan."
And with that I shot out of bed faster than I ever have before. "Ok ok I'm up now mom happy?"
"Yes now hurry and get ready for school u have a half hour till you have to leave and you haven't even eaten breakfast."
With that she exits my room. Sometimes I love my mom and other days I wish I lived on my own. So with that I grab a towel and head for the bathroom to take a shower. I use my vanilla scented body wash so I smell amazing and shave and wash my hair. I step out and wrap the towel around myself. I decide I'm gonna air dry my hair Cus no matter what I do it always looks terrible. I grab my thick rimmed black glasses and put them on then head to my wardrobe. I choose a pair of black faded skinny jeans with holes in the knee and a purple cami to go under my red Harvard sweatshirt with my favourite rosta coloured beanie and lastly my white converse. I spray some perfume and take one last look in the mirror. I have blonde hair that never does what I want it to and blue eyes that seem dull to me, I'm 5'7 which isn't too bad of a height and I'm not anorexic skinny but at least I don't have a thigh gap.
With that I head down the stairs to see what mom made for breakfast. When I enter the kitchen I smell blueberry pancakes but I don't see mom. "Mom?" Huh she must have left already, oh well. I sit at a chair and devour my pancakes, once I'm done I check the time. "Holy crap it's eight!" I run out the door and then slow to a walk for the journey ahead of me to school.
I finally arrive to school an have ten minutes to spare. My best friend Kanyon meets up with me at my locker. "Hey girl how was your summer?" "It was okay not fantastic just hung around home ya know, what about you? How was yours?" "Same, not very eventful either." "Yea well we should be headed to English by now the bell will be ringing soon." Ding ding ding "shoot were late!" "Run."
We finally get to class huffing and puffing and luckily the teacher hasn't shown up yet. I go to the back and sit down with my face down and Kanyon goes to sit with his buddies. I know what your thinking why is a nerd in the back? Well the thing is I don't like being called on and I might be a nerd but I'm defiantly not a teachers pet. So I sit in the back unnoticed but my grades are still exceptionally good.
When the teacher walks in I kinda zone out so when I finally come to everyone's looking at me waiting for an answer to a question that I didn't hear. "Um I'm sorry I wasn't paying attention could u repeat the question?" Everyone laughed at that. "Yes Reagan I will i asked if u could tell us the plot of Romeo and Juliet since it was on your reading list?" "Um sure well the capulets and montigues have been enemies for a long time and Romeo and Juliet have this love that's unstoppable, so they get married and no one likes that but they think it will bring their families together but in the end Juliet takes this sleeping poison and Romeo finds her thinks she's dead takes his life, Juliet awakes sees him dead and takes her life so they both die in the end." "Yes that is correct thank you Reagan." whew that was close, I can see Kanyon by his friends and he's giving me a thumbs up as to say good job and then the school slut lily says "What a nerd, she just reads all summer." with that I kept my head down and went back to la la land.
The bell finally rings for lunch a few hours later and I go to an empty table to put my head down to tired to eat. A few seconds later I hear a chair being pushed back and my best friend Kanyon taking a seat. he has a full plate of food. must be carbs day Cus football training. Yeah you heard it he's one of the populars but decides to hang with me, I always wondered why. "Hey Reagan aren't u gonna eat anything?" "No I'm to tired to eat right now." But he's to persistent. "Here take half my sandwich u gotta eat something." So I take it and eat a quarter of the half before I push it away on the table still not hungry. Just then the doors burst open and in walks Trevor the schools bad boy. Everyone's quiet to see what he'll do but he just goes and sits at a table with his other delinquent friends. Soon everyone's back to normal. I say to Kanyon "Hey we should get goin lunch will be over soon." "Yea okay lets go." With that he shoves the remainder of his good into his mouth. "Pig!" "Am not!" "Ok ok let's go."
The final bell rings as I'm washing my brushes from any paint left on them. Once I'm done I grab my bag and head out to meet kanyon. He's outside with his friends who are throwing around a football. once he sees me he comes over. "Hey u heading home?" "Yea." "Well do u want a ride?" I look over at his friends and see there looking but that doesn't decide why I said no. "No I'll walk I'm fine." "You sure?" "Yup positive thanks tho." And just as I'm a few feet away one of his friends yells "hey Kanyon catch!" and before I know it I'm hit with the ball in the middle of my back which makes me fall and I fall right into none other than Trevor's motorcycle and it falls with me.
Everyone is quiet as they look from me to the bike and then before I can run Trevor and his friends walk out of school and they all look straight to me. To say I felt scared would be an under statement I was terrified and frozen to the point I couldn't move. Then Trevor storms over and starts yelling, "What the hell did you do to my bike?!" "I uh um I'm sorry! It was an accident!" "Like hell it is your gonna pay for this!" I was terrified at what he meant by pay for this but all he did was pick up his bike and get on. He looked back once more before he took off and said "Don't forget you'll pay for this." With that he left down the road and out of sight. After everyone looked away I walked away quickly to get home.
