-Michael's POV-

When my eyes opened it was still dark in Lexi's room. The only thing I could see were her white curtains blowing in the cool air. Suddenly it occured to me Lexi wasn't in the bed.

"Lexi?" I asked. I heard her soft giggle. I ran to the window. "Lexi what's going on?"

"Look." She said. The moon illuminated her face. She had a bright smile dancing on her lips. Her eyes wild with excitment. I sat on the edge of the window sill with her. My hands grabbed her thin waist. She looked beautiful. "No not at me." She giggled. I turned my attention to the sky. There lights, millions. It was beautiful. But not as beautiful as Lexi. "What do you think?" Her breath smelled of vodka and pot.

"Lexi. You're high and drunk." She sighed.

"What do you thnk of the view." She giggled once again.

"It's beautiful."

"I know." She sighed. "I wish I was that beautfiul." If only she knew. She was stunning.

"You are." I whispered.

"I wish I was something more. Like I had a purpose in life."

"You do."

"Haven't you heard?" She laughed. "I'm just a slut!" She yelled throwing her hands up and laughing. She lit a joint and and blew little o's from her blood red lips. She was going crazy. She was beautifully insane. The little joint let in little light into her dark world. I saw her wrists. There were little pink scars going up and down them.

"Lexi," I grabbed the joint out of her fingers forcefully. "If you wanted some you could've just asked." She laughed.

"I don't want any Lexi." I said. "What the fuck is on your wrists?"

"Oh that." She laughed. "That. That's my battle scars." She laughed but I could now see the pain in her wild eyes. "That's scars from all the wars I've fought." Her giggles down, but her smile remained. It was bigger, but definnitley not happy.

"Oh Lexi. Why don't we get back in the room?"

"Why would I do that."

"Lexi..." I said gripping my hands harder arounder her.

"Oh no. You see I can't win this war. No I'm going to die fighting. But I'm going to die."

"Lexi. What are you saying?"

"Don't you see?" She laughed. "I can't win this battle. I'm going to kill myself silly." she was crazy.

"Lexi I won't let you do that." I said. And before she could do anything I pulled her back inside the room.

"You a**hole!" she screamed. I could see tears running down her cheeks. "Why would you do that!?! You ruined everything!" She collapsed to the ground in hysterics.

"C'mon Lexi. I'm going to get Luke. ok?"

"No." she sobbed. "Ashton."

"You want me to call Ash?" I asked sitting next to her."

"Y..Yeah" I wrapped an arm around her. I felt a pang of jealousy. Why wasn't I good enough for her? Why did she want Ashton?

"Ash. you need to get to Luke's immedetley. It's Lexi." I said. I didn't have to say anything else he was already on his way.

-Ashton's POV-

I opened the door to Lexi's room. She was sobbing on the floor.

"Lex." I whispered holding her. "What happened?" I asked Michael.
