It wasn't that much fun standing alone. Max watched the other guys run about and well, just mess around in general. It wasn't long before he made eye contact with Jay, a boy in his class. 'H-he's looking at me!' Max blushed and quickly jumped up. Walking down the road home, he noticed that he wasn't alone.
(Max's POV)
This happened every day. Those bullies would always follow me home and hit me. I stopped walking. I didn't care anymore so I let them hurt me. The leader of the three, Greg, grabbed the back of my head. "Where do you think you're going runt?" He hissed in my ear. I didn't care that he hurt me, I didn't care that he broke me.
"Hey, I'm talkin to ya! Answer me!" Greg threw me to the ground. "Ahh!" I winced in pain as he placed his foot on my chest. "You're nothing but dirt." He spat. I closed my eyes, ready for him to kick me, but he never did. I opened my eyes to see....Jay.

(Jay's POV)
I took down Greg and his dumb goonies quickly. Looking at the boy on the ground and held my hand out to him. "Get up, you'll get hurt if you don't." He took my hand and I helped him up. "You're the kid that always watches me during practice, aren't you." He looked up at me and blushed. Damn, he's cute...wait, did j just say cute?! I blushed a bit but before leaving, I kissed his forehead. "Be careful next time Kay?" I smiled.

(No one's POV)
Max blushed and watched Jay leave, holding his cheek. "He....kissed me?" The boy blushed then smiled. It's not everyday something like this happens.
