Chapter one
the beginning
The year 1996, the jackson city jaguares are down by two in the championship of march madness. With two seconds left they have there star senior brad shooting it he makes the first and air balls the second. There perfect season had ended and there dreams of winning march madness were crushed. And the worst part they lost to a tinny school coming out of chicago.
There hole school and parents were devastated. After the loss to the under dog there sports did terrible. They lost all of there games for four years. Nobody wanted to go to their collage now. There basketball program was terrible and there school was barely running. Coach john and his assistant coach where devastated.
"We are never going to win," coach john said.
"Don't say that," david said.
Chapter two
The pep talk
There was one thing that coach john was doing and that was giving a pep talk.
"We will go out there and do our best and if you don't do your best we will find someone who will," said coach john confidently.
Later the superintendent called john to his office.
"I'll give you one year to win a championship before i close down the school," said the superintendent.
Lucky for john he had a trick up his sleeve.
Chapter three
A new beginning
The next year they had a all-star on their team.he averaged forty points a game. His name was jack he was 15 years old and the position he played was the post.
"I hope your as good as they say you are," said john.
"We are depending on you,"said john desperately.
"O you can count on me,"said jack.
Chapter four
The road to a championship
The first game of the season was about to start.the jaguares are up and it doesn't look like they are letting off. The players were all excited to be winning again.they had won by eighty points. And at the end john gave an envelope to jack.
They were waiting in a room waiting to see if they will go to march madness. It was obvious that they were going to go so they all started celebrating.
Chapter five
The championship
" The time has come for us to redeem ourselves," john said.
They kicked butt and won every game to go to the championship. Jack had gpt in a car crash and died there number one player was now dead. They were ahead at half but then some cops arrested john for paying jack to play for him. And there hopes were crushed once again.
