I thought for a moment.
You taught me how to trust, and now you’re showing me I should not trust too easily. You looked at me like I was your world, and now I can’t even look straight into your eyes without getting hurt. You showed me love, and now I question everyone’s intention in being close to me. You made me believe that fairytales do come true, but now I’ve become a villain – not believing that ‘happily ever after’ does happen in reality.
You were everything I needed but now I am trying my best to live without you. You were everything I wanted but I am now going to face tomorrow without you by my side.
So, no. We can’t and will never be friends.
You once made my heart whole, but you broke it into pieces and now I’m struggling to fill all the holes. You once were mine, but now you’re not. We once were together, but now we’re not.
