Chapter 6
-Day 2 Part 3-
"Where did you go today?" Dad asked. "You look so happy but you look very untidy."
"Uh... I went to an amusement park?" I half-asked half-answered.
"Why would you go there on your own? Isn't that boring? Especially eating there on your own?"
I had informed my parents that I wouldn't be home for dinner but they didn't know who I had dinner with. If they did, I'd be dead meat.
"Um... I didn't go there on my own..." I stuttered.
"Oh?" Dad asked, raising a brow. "Then who did you go with?"
I immediately regretted saying that. If Dad or Mum found out that I went out with a boy, they would ground me for half a year, and I really don't know how to live with that.
The "half-year grounding" package isn't like your average grounding where your devices get confiscated or something.
Instead, the package includes some pre-marital sex lessons conducted by my parents (embarrassing), some puberty-learning books (useless), and some failed relationship experiences shared by my parents' friends.
How I knew what the grounding package consisted of?
My parents told me what the package consisted of the last time I went out with a boy to go to the movies. But that was when I was way younger.
The package should have some worser 'upgrades'.
"Who?" Dad asked again, snapping me out of the grounding package thingy.
"Carrie," I lied without much hesitation.
"Okay..." he said, nodding his head as he turned his attention back to some movie he was watching.
"Where'd Mum go?" I asked, after realising that she wasn't at home.
"Oh, she went to your gran's house to play Bingo with her," came the reply.
I nodded and made my way to the bathroom to take a shower and afterwards, get my homework done.

It was 9.45pm, almost time to sleep. I snatched my iPhone that was sitting on the top of my desk restlessly.
Unlocking it, I launched a chatting app and started to text Stanley. Luckily, we had exchanged numbers during the date or I'd have no one to talk to.
Well, no one because Carrie is attending her younger brother's school concert.
Hey, Stan.
Hello babe. What's going on?
I'm so bored and I've got no one to talk to cuz Carrie is at her bro's school concert.
So... I'm your boredom reliever?
If you want to put it that way, go ahead!
I'm not only your boredom reliever. I'll be your everything.
Whoops, I gotta go and sleep now! Talk to you tomorrow! Bye!
Hey! Are you trying to avoid the topic or something? Hello?
Laughing but not answering him, I got out of the app and locked my phone but not before charging so it could last for the next day.
