Chapter 1

Hi my names beth I'm a 21 year old beach lifeguard obsessed with surfing, I'm living in Cornwall England. I'm single and ready for a nice handsome prince to sweep me of my feet. I'm on my way to meet my best friend Sam, we're going to have a few drinks down at the local pub and then we're gonna go out through town. It's her birthday and she's just turned 20 so we are having a little celebration.
Sam is amazing. she's a small blonde girl, she's also a lifeguard with me down at the beach and is also just as obsessed with the surf.

I pulled up out side the pub made sure that everything valuable was hidden as I was gonna leave the car here and pick it up on my way back from the beach tomorrow. I locked the door and entered the pub it's a classic Cornish pub. You know low ceilings wooden benches and tables scattered everywhere and the bar. This is the best pub as only locals really know about it as it's really tucked away, we get a lot of tourists here and they always blocks the good places so it's almost like all Cornish people made a silent vow never to tell any holiday maker we're this place is.

I spotted Sam and walked over to her she had already got drinks and was doing something on he phone so she didn't notice me coming. "Hay" I said, she jumped and almost dropped her phone, I couldn't stop laughing "stop" she said patting my arm playfully. "Awwww you love it really" I said, she nodded and put he phone down on the table "I got you your usual rattler" she said, I smiled at her and took a sip looking around at the bar "so you had your eyes pealed already or were you waiting for me" I said pointing at the bunch of guys gathered around the bar "na, I waited for ya" she said smiling and we both looked over at the bar to see if we could see anyone that caught our fancy "hay that ones staring at you" I said gesturing discreetly towards a good looking guy near the end of the bar.

Sam decided that she was gonna go for it and had gone over to talk to him and it looked like it was going pretty well. I had been sitting here for about ten minutes on my own until Sam came wondering back over with the mystery guy just behind her. I also saw another guy just behind him, he was extremely good looking and I could see his perfect body struggling against his shirt, sam and the two guys sat down "beth this is Alex" she said pointing to the guy that was with her "and this his his friend Noah" she said winking as she pointed to the other guy who had now sat next to me. "Hi guys" I said kindly as Sam started chatting with her guy again giving me a look that I clearly read as 'go get it girl'.

"So hi, um, how are you" I said awkwardly I was so put of by how hot this guy was. He chuckled smiling and showing a row of perfect white teeth, "Hay I'm good" he said casually. It was silent for a second before he said "why don't you tell me about yourself" I turned so that I was facing him fully "um I'm a lifeguard down at the beach, I'm 21 and obviously you've meat my best friend Sam" I said "cool I've always wanted to be a lifeguard but I never had the patience to do the training" he said smiling "what about you" I said taking another sip of my drink "well, I'm currently unemployed, and I'm 23, and you've also meat my best friend Alex" he said ticking it of on his fingers "it'd kinda loud in here do you fancy going outside" he said "um I think we were actually gonna go hit a few more of the bars through town if ya wanna join" I said "Oh ye sounds good" he said, sam must of heard as we both downed the rest of our drinks and left the pub "god it's cold out here" I said shivering, I saw Noah talking of his coat and he put it over my shoulders "you don't have to do that, now your gonna be cold" I said trying to give it back but he held it on and wrapped his arm around me "well you'll have to keep me warm then won't ya" he said holding me close to him as we walked.

It wasn't far the next bar, we showed our ID and walked in. we all sat at one of the sofa seats that were in the corner "it's dead in here" said Alex who also had his arm tight around sam. "Ye this place ain't so popular cus the music is usually shit" I said leaning closer so he could hear, we all laughed "right I'll get the next round what's everybody having" said Noah as he let go of me and stood up "na you don't have to I'll get it" me and Sam said almost in unison we both laughed "na it's good, what ya having" he said. We all said what we wanted and he walked away to the bar.

He sat back down with four drinks and a round of shots "I am not doing shots" said sam chuckling to herself "ye come on its ya birthday" I said cheerfully and took my drink and downed the shot at the same time as Noah "oh god what is that" I said "I think he said it was called a 'flat liner' what ever that means" he said chuckling softly. I really like this guys he's funny, he's totally fit, he's got the body of a god and he can keep up with my drinking Which is hard for anyone.

We continued down town to the next bar and sat at the corner table. I got this round and I also got more shots "Alright let's get this started" I said excitedly, I still felt fine but I could see that sam was taking it hard. Alex and Noah were also perfectly fine. We downed the shots and finished of our drinks and by this point I was feeling slightly wavy and I could feel it coming, the boys still looked completely fine which felt weird to me but I didn't let it spoil the evening, there probably just really good at hiding it "I'm gonna go to the bath room" said sam "coming" I said following her over.

"So what ya think of the boys" she said holding herself up on the sink "I really like him" I said smiling and helping hold her steady "what about yours" I said "omg he's awesome" she said, just as she turned and ran into the toilet, I walked in after her and held her hair while she was sick, then all of a sudden I felt sick to which is really weird because I never get sick, no matter how drunk I am I'm never sick. Sam finished just in time for me to drop her hair and go into my own cubicle.

We walked back out to the table and I could feel those shots starting to mess with me "Hay guys I think we should probably shoot" said sam "wait what your done" I said surprised she's usually good to go after she's sick, she says it's like starting again. She looked at me and I could see that she was not good. "Alright" I said kinda disappointed "Hay can we have your numbers" I said and we both handed our phones over and they put them in "How are you to getting home ya gonna be ok ya" said Noah "we can give ya a life if ya want" he added "na it's alright we're gonna get a taxi home but thanks will see ya soon" I said "ye I might see ya at the beach" said Noah happily as Alex waved us good bye.

We got back to mine and we both passed out on the sofa before we managed to get to bed .
