Chapter 3 "A Relationship?"

Liu's point of view.

I turned around leaving Piper's house without a second thought. It was dangerous being with her for too long anyway. God only knew when the Slenderman would decide to show his ugly face. Basically, every fan base out there on him makes him out to be this fatherly figure when HE'S NOT. Do they all live in one house? Yes. But only a selected few. Such as monsters he thinks worthy. But he doesn't cook dinner and act as a father. He makes them do his dirty work. He tried to get me to join thinking I'd want to after everything... But he was dead wrong! Why the hell would I want to be on a team that has my brother on it? No reason. I walk the streets and steal money from people I knock out. To put it, in short, I DON'T KILL. I would never take another life. EVER. Not even if u paid me. Humans to me are all I have left. I could live in the underworld but for what purpose? I wouldn't be well known so I wouldn't be praised upon. I would just be a low-class human monster that doesn't even kill! And as people should know that's frowned upon down there thanks to Zalgo and Slenderman. I would in no way be better off down there. Piper is my only concern right now. And because of that, I knew what I had to do in order to keep her safe. It was about 9 miles away from her house but I walked it. Until I met the forest. I walked slowly with my head down knowing either him or one of his Proxy's would find me. It wasn't long before I heard a loud static in my ears to know he had found me first. "Why are YOU here?" I turned my head to meet the tall faceless asshole that everyone loved so much. "Thought you wanted me to be a part of your team?" When I said that he didn't say anything for a good two minutes. We just stared each other down. "Finally you come to your scenes." Suddenly we were at a cottage in the woods. From the outside, it warned and run down... but the inside was like a house. Stairs up to six rooms and down a hall laid another 8. I walked down that hall to a room that had a tag of my name on it and entered it. "I'll leave you to unpack" I looked at him as he shut the door and sat on my bed. It was 4 in the morning already. I was so tired that I fell asleep on my bed without a second thought. I could only hope that Piper would be safe now.

Piper's Point Of View

I woke up at 1 in the afternoon. I looked in the cabinet for something to eat but found nothing. Guess I had to go shopping. It was 82 out. Jesus. As I walked out the door I tripped over something on my porch not paying attention to my feet. I got up only to have two hands help me up. It was Liu. I smiled at him and he smiled back. "Careful doll face." I heard another voice say. Liu and I looked up only to see a man with dark black hair and a white hoodie walking up my steps. Liu's eyes went from happy to furious. I looked at this man only to feel myself yelp. His eyes were burnt black and his mouth had a carved in smile."What are you doing here?!' Liu hissed. He laughed. "Only to see why you joined the team," The man said. "Liu?" I found myself whisper. He looked down at me. Our eyes met. "Sorry, Piper...This is my brother." I looked at the man who had a devilish grin on his face. "Let's go shopping together" I whispered squeezing Liu's hand. He looked down. "Yes," he said dragging me past his brother. We walked about a mile until we reached the store. While I was looking supper he seemed off. "PIPER!" I heard a familiar voice say. Kylie ran up to me and gave me a hug. Lilly Monika and Jordan followed. "Uhhh what are you guys doing here?" They all looked at me then past me to Liu. "Who is that?" Monika asked. Liu's eyes narrowed towards her. "I'm her boyfriend got a problem?" My Kylie and Lilly stared Liu down. "Uh okay," Kylie said Suddenly I felt my hand get jerked away from my group of friends. Suddenly Liu and I were at the register. Liu looked angry. I didn't say anything until we were outside. "Liu is something wrong?" His eyes met mine. "Move in with me?" My heart raced. What did he mean to move in with him? "Liu? " I asked. "Alright," I said after no response. Suddenly I was walking with Liu to the end of the street until he called a taxi. "Hey, Piper?" I heard Monika ask. I turned to her and she looked at me. "Where are you going?" She asked. "With Liu, I promise I'll see you guys at school tomorrow." With that, I hopped in the cab and went to my house. After I had packed my things Liu dragged me out the door.

     We hopped in a car that Liu rented and we drove for at least 20 minutes. Finally, we reached a forest. The sign said Port Wood park. I walked in as Liu walked in. It took about an hour of walking until we reached a really crappy house. "Uh... Liu this house looks like crap," I said. "Just trust me," he said and we walked in. To the right as soon as we walked in the door there were a few kids maybe threw the ages of 17 and 20 playing video games. To the left was a kitchen and straight ahead was a staircase. I followed Liu to the right where we walked past the boys playing video games. Straight ahead of that was 8 rooms in a dark hallway. Liu opened a door and threw himself on the bed. "God damn I'm tired," he said. I laughed and sat at the edge of the bed. I felt his warm breath on my neck and he crawled up to me. He put his head on my lap and started drifting off. I pushed him off and laid down on the bed with him. He laid there silent and drifted off. After a couple hours, I heard a loud bang on his door waking him jump up out of bed. "Liu where did u go?" a boy with blonde hair and was about my height walked in and looked down at me on the bed. "Ben I'm not in the mood" Liu hissed. "Who's that pretty lady? Mind telling Slendy that we have a new girl here?" I felt scared because this kid had blood dripping down from his eyes and a Link outfit on. "That's quite enough Ben" I heard a deep voice say as a dark shadow emerged from the darkness. It was a tall man with dark black hair and a dark black suit with a red tie. I'm aware of this girl and she will be okay here. No hands on her got it?!" The boy who I assume the name is Ben walked out of the room. I looked at the man and he smiled and nodded at me. Liu looked worried but I nodded it off. It was 8 and I had to be to school tomorrow so I laid down and went to sleep thinking about how Liu called himself my boyfriend.
