A Mermaid (man) and a Tengu's Love

Hi Minna-sans! I am from Fanfiction.net but I immigrated there to here hahaha. Fanfiction.net is being very biased so I decided to write my stories here! This one will be about a true story that I made up hahaha!

Once upon a time...

There once was a Tengu named Hibari Kyouya who lived on top of Namimori Mountain. He was known for his jet black raven hair, his sharp cold steel eyes, fair yet pale white skin, and incredible strength. He was always alone and bored but one day he decided he wants to try searching for something to entertain him. He flew high up to the top of the mountain to see the great view of the ocean. There was absolutely nothing but the waves of the sea until he heard a faint lullaby...

It's like you're a drug~
It's like you're a demon I can't face down~
It's like I'm stuck~
It's like I'm running from you all the time~
And I know I let you have all the power~
It's like the only company I seek is misery all around~
It's like you're a leech~
Sucking the life from me~
It's like I can't breathe~

And I realize I'm never gonna quit you over time~

Hibari flew down near the tides of the waves and on a sold boulder in the water but a bit of the top is shown on the top of the surface of the water. There was a brunette gravity defying hair'd boy who was on the boulder singing the lullaby. He had large honey brown like eyes and had fair skin, and kissable pink lips. His tail was bright orange that matched the bright blue ocean. He hid behind another boulder that was on shore for some reason he did not understand and decided to listen to the song.

It's like I can't breathe~

Without you interrupting me~

Hibari felt like the song was very soothing to his ear and for some reason gets caught up in his mind. He stared at the boy behind the rock and smirked a bit. Maybe he found a perfect toy to play with for a while. He knew the boy was a merman... but more a like mermaid to him. He decided to confront the brunette... after the song was finished.

It's like I'm lost~
It's like I'm giving up slowly~
It's like you're a ghost that's haunting me~
Leave me alone~
And I know these voices in my head~
Are mine alone~
And I know I'll never change my ways~

Hibari suddenly felt like he was getting very drowsy. The song was making him too relaxed that it made him drowsy but Hibari was not gonna lose to the soothing lullaby.

Hibari's eyes began to feel even heavier than before. He bit his lip silently to keep himself awake and not fall asleep. 'Was this the power of a mermaid's (man) voice? Or was it only this boy's power' thought Hibari as he found himself letting his eyes close

I'm hooked on you~
I need a fix~
I can't take it~
Just one more hit~
I promise I can deal with it~
I'll handle it, quit it~

Then that's it~

Now Hibari officially fell asleep behind the boulder but with his guard up... well that was what he was thinking...

The brunette mermaid finished his song and suddenly he heard something behind a boulder in front of him that was on shore. He decided to go on shore. Readers I you think it will be difficult for the brunette then you’re wrong. Tsuna had the power to have human leg on shore but when he touches water it will revert back into a tail. He landed on shore and waited until his tail became two legs and a minute later it happened. He then carefully walked around the boulder and flinched. He saw a boy a bit older than him that had wings! It was the first time seeing a being with wings instead of a tail to him. He carefully stared at it and decided to go closer to him without waking up the boy. But that goal failed.

Hibari snapped his eyes open and grabbed the poor brunette's arm frightening him dearly.

"G-Gomenasai" stuttered the brunette afraid of what was gonna happen to him. Hibari stared at the brunette into the eye. He felt like as if he was getting sucked into the doe-like eyes of the brunette but he snapped out and stared at the brunette again and found him frightened and pale.

"Herbivore what is your name"

"H-Huh?" stuttered the brunette staring at the tengu. "A-Are you talking to me" asked the brunette. Hibari snorted and sarcastically said, "Oh then am I talking to the air?"

The Mermaid (Man) blushed and stuttered, "M-My name is T-Tsunayoshi Sawada"

'Tsunayoshi huh...' thought Hibari and he replied, "My name is Hibari Kyouya and from now on you will be with me"

There was silence except the sound of nature (wave crashing). Tsuna was dumbfounded and Hibari waited for an answer or a reaction to come at him.

Tsuna stood up, walked behind the boulder and smiled. He ran into the ocean and disappeared leaving Hibari confused but annoyed that his prey ran away. He knew Tsuna will come back onto the surface and when he does. Hibari will fly down and take Tsuna by surprise to his territory.

A few hours later Tsuna did come up but it surprised Hibari because he was thinking that maybe he would come back the next day or so. But it was night time. The sky was midnight blue and the ocean was dark but had light from the full moon's bright light. Tsuna sat on top of the same boulder and stared at the moon.

"Herbivore what is so amazing about the moon"

Tsuna flinched and looked back and found Hibari floating... well flying of course.

"M-My mom told me that rabbits make delicious food on the moon and if you do find the rabbits and eat the food then you will live for eternity." stuttered Tsuna.

Hibari rolled his eyes, 'so this herbivore believes in fantasies'

"Hn." answered Hibari.

They both stared at the moon for some time until Hibari said, "Herbivore"

"Yes Hibari-san?"

Hibari didn’t reply back but smirked. He grabbed Tsuna and put him on shore and made him convert his tail into a pair of legs, after that he grabbed Tsuna by the arms and flew up into the mountain.

"HIEEEEE" Squealed Tsuna in fright knowing he is not touching the ground or water but flying in air.

"Be quiet herbivore you're gonna make monsters come out if you do that"

"T-There’s monsters" paled Tsuna.

"No I was just---- kidding" said Hibari but at the last part he sighed because Tsuna fainted from fright. He then thought, 'maybe I picked a wrong toy to play with... no it isn’t. Because I chose it (LOL)'
